Kumako Den Reviews
We love great ramen, and this place was fantastic! The only reason I didn’t give the atmosphere 5 stars is because the seating is limited. The food is so good, I wished more people could fit in the restaurant. Excellent curry ramen, incredible tonkotsu ramen, and great katsu! Highly recommend!
May 17, 2025 · Andrew LeachCame here with a few friends for a double date. We got seated immediately at 12 pm but then it got really busy, so we were lucky!Good:- The staff were really fun, they were trolling us at some point and said the wrong order intentionally to mess with us. Really fun people- The duck ramen was so unique and tasty! The portions were perfect for me after a pilates class, filled me up.- The chicken karaage ramen was also really good and the chicken was still fried and good texture even after sitting out!Bad:- The place is a little more casual and not as nice as others but it's a fast place to get food, it comes out quicklyOverall this place had tasty ramen and a good in and out experience.
Mar 03, 2025 · Jenny XuKumako Ramen Den is an award winning restaurant with super friendly service and consistently great food. The stir fry ramen and duck ramen are packed with flavor, and the katsu curry rice is total comfort food. Don’t skip the gyoza — it’s crispy, juicy, and definitely a must!
May 06, 2025 · Linda JFood: Everything is right on the spot! All the dishes we ordered are tasty and came up really fast. The Katsu is especially nice and crispy, only wished that we got a bit more curry sauce as it runs a bit dried at then end without it.Service: the staff who served us is super warm and welcoming. My friend asked for spicy sauce and he provided 3 options and introduced them one by one. We can tell that he’s enjoying the job very much and this creates a nice dining experience!Ambiance: we sat outside as the weather is nice, and it’s more of a casual dining area as well.
Jul 22, 2024 · Lydia ChangI've never eaten here before, but the vibe was old school and nostalgic. The broth tastes like any homemade broth from a family-owned shop in Japan, and the takoyaki is delicious and melt-your-tongue hot! The pork in the fried rice is fall-apart-tender. The radio plays music interspersed with loud ads and every order is announced loudly with a "PLEASE, CHEF!"Definitely eat here.
