Kura Revolving Sushi Bar Introduce
In the dynamic culinary landscape of Lynnwood, Washington, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar offers a distinct and engaging dining experience that goes beyond traditional Japanese restaurants. While its primary service is culinary, its inclusion within the "Doctor Near Me" platform category, though unconventional, serves to highlight its role as a readily accessible and unique local establishment. Much like a "Doctor Near Me" service connects individuals with specialized healthcare providers close to home, Kura provides a specialized and convenient service by offering an interactive and novel way to enjoy Japanese cuisine right in the community. It caters to a local need for quality food combined with an entertaining dining format, making it a "go-to" spot for both meals and a unique outing, akin to how one might seek a nearby specialist for a specific service or experience.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is conveniently located at 3321 184th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98037, USA. For inquiries, customers can reach them at (425) 358-8887 or via mobile at +1 425-358-8887. This address places it within a busy commercial hub in Lynnwood, making it easily accessible for local patrons and those visiting the area. Its prominent location ensures good visibility and straightforward access. This geographic convenience is a significant factor in its appeal, embodying the very essence of a "Doctor Near Me" search – finding what you need, where you need it, with efficiency and ease, especially when seeking a particular type of dining experience.
The environment at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a defining feature, blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern technology to create an interactive and visually stimulating dining space. The centerpiece is, of course, the "revolving belt" which showcases a "plenty of variety" of sushi dishes. The restaurant is noted for being "very clean," which is a crucial aspect for any food establishment, particularly one where food is constantly circulating. While the overall look is described as "traditional," there are comments on seating comfort. The "padded seats" have "very straight hard backs," and the chairs at the counter are noted as being "way too close to each other, packed like sardines." This suggests that while the visual appeal is strong, comfort might be a secondary consideration in some seating arrangements. However, a significant positive aspect is the "high privacy wall between booths," which offers a sense of personal space despite the potentially crowded environment. The integration of technology, such as the "automated ordering system at the table" and drinks "delivered by a robot," creates a futuristic and engaging atmosphere, adding to the overall entertainment value. This unique environment transforms dining into an experience, much like a specialized clinic might utilize advanced technology to enhance patient interaction and care.
The service at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, particularly noted during its Grand Opening, appears to be well-managed, with staff making efforts to ensure a positive experience despite high demand. The Grand Opening was described as "well staffed with a well stocked revolving belt," indicating a proactive approach to service. Customers report that the "staff is excellent and helpful," even when navigating the potentially "confusing at first" automated ordering system. While there was an instance of appetizers not making it to the table initially, the issue was rectified promptly by an employee who "brought them to our table by hand later." Drinks are delivered by a "robot that was a fun touch," showcasing an innovative service model. The overall impression is one of attentiveness and a willingness to resolve issues, which is crucial for a restaurant, especially one employing advanced technology. The staff's willingness to assist with the ordering system and address discrepancies contributes significantly to a positive customer experience, reflecting the responsive and helpful approach one expects from any service provider, including a "Doctor Near Me" professional.
The features of the food at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar emphasize variety, freshness, and specific standout dishes. The "sushi in the revolving belt" is described as "nice quality with plenty of variety." Specific favorites included "the seared tuna and mochi," highlighting the appeal of both savory and sweet options. While some reviews expressed concerns about the value, stating "$3.95 for three small pieces of sushi" and being "a bit expensive for too little food," the quality of the ingredients is generally acknowledged. The restaurant also offers a "good selection of hot appetizers and desserts" available for direct ordering. The "automated ordering system" allows for custom orders that are not on the belt, ensuring freshness. The Bikkura Pon prize system, where customers earn "cute keychains" after 15 plates, adds a unique and engaging element, especially appealing to families and repeat customers. This gamified approach to dining is a distinct feature that enhances the overall experience. The lemonade being "fizzy" also indicates attention to detail in beverages. These features combine to offer a comprehensive dining experience that is both culinary and entertaining, providing more than just a meal, similar to how a specialized clinic might offer additional services to enhance patient well-being.
Regarding promotional information, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar utilizes its unique dining concept and interactive elements as its primary draw. The "Grand Opening" itself served as a significant promotional event, generating buzz and attracting a large crowd. The Bikkura Pon prize system, offering "cute keychains" after 15 plates, is a clever promotional tool that encourages repeat visits and larger orders. The fact that these prizes are "also available for purchase" provides an additional revenue stream and souvenir option. The novelty of "drinks came delivered by a robot" is a highly memorable and shareable experience, contributing to organic word-of-mouth promotion and social media visibility. While direct discount offers are not explicitly mentioned, the inherent entertainment value and the novelty of the experience serve as strong draws. For a business that fits the "Doctor Near Me" model, offering a unique and engaging experience can be a powerful promotional strategy, making it a preferred choice for those seeking something beyond the ordinary. The positive feedback from the Grand Opening ("Look forward to going again!") further reinforces the effectiveness of their unique approach.
In conclusion, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in Lynnwood, WA, offers a distinctive and technologically integrated Japanese dining experience. Its environment is clean and interactive, featuring a revolving sushi belt, automated ordering, and robot delivery, despite some minor comfort considerations in seating. The service is attentive and efficient, with staff eager to assist. The food features a variety of good quality sushi, with highlights like seared tuna and mochi, and the overall experience is enhanced by the unique Bikkura Pon prize system. While some customers find it a bit expensive for the portion size, the novelty and entertainment value contribute significantly to its appeal. Although formal promotional campaigns are not detailed, the restaurant's innovative concept, interactive elements, and engaging prize system serve as its most powerful form of promotion, attracting a diverse clientele. For Lynnwood residents seeking a fun, fresh, and technologically advanced sushi experience, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a compelling choice, embodying the essence of a unique and engaging local service, much like finding a specialized "Doctor Near Me" for specific needs.

Apr 13, 2025 · Alex JI’ve been a couple of times to this restaurant. It’s very clean. Due to the traditional look of the seating it’s not very comfortable. Padded seats, but very straight hard backs. I appreciate the high privacy wall between booths. And the chairs at the counter are way too close to each other, packed like sardines. It’s a bit expensive. $3.95 for three small pieces of sushi. The staff is excellent and helpful. They have an automated ordering system at the table. I think once you use it a couple times it’s helpful. But kind of confusing at first. It has categories and sub categories, which makes it difficult to find what you’re looking for. But the main thing is the price. It’s just too expensive for too little food.
Apr 26, 2025 · Krysteen L.Pleasantly surprised by this chain and location. Lunch crowd was light, staff was pleasant and friendly. The sushi selection was pretty good and the standards were excellent. No complaints about the fish, rice or seaweed and the portions were fine. I’ll definitely come back.
May 15, 2025 · Brian JacksonI visited Kura Sushi at approximately 2:00 PM on Sunday. Customers have to self-register wait list via iPad upon arrival: however, do not wait for sms, as they keep calling your name to check if you are at the site. My party's wait time was approximately 27 minutes. Table-side ordering kiosks were not proactively explained by our server; consequently, we had to request assistance to order water, which was complimentary and served with wasabi. The conveyor belt sushi selection was diverse and appealing, offering a variety of rolls, sushi, edamame, and fruit. Automated plate disposal and tallying systems were fun and efficient. While the ramen selection was adequate (the shoyu ramen was satisfactory, although the miso ramen was excessively salty and the noodles undercooked, not eating that again), the fish bun, while crispy, was overly oily. At the end, a little slot under the kiosk gave us a small gift of collectible Kura key chain. My kiddo loved it. Bathroom had the high tech bidet and it was fancy!! The overall Japanese-style dining experience was positive, although comparable establishments have provided superior sushi, less cost and better service in our past experiences. Sushi plates were 3.95 each and ramen was 11.50 and teriyaki ice cream was 6.15. It cost us about 100 bucks without tip. We do not plan to come back here unless they improve the food quality and change the way they notify waiting customers. Not worth the hype and wait time.
Apr 14, 2025 · James CWent to Japan in the winter of 2023, and this was the first time since then that I actually felt like I was back! The setup was awesome — a regular sushi belt you could grab plates from, a personal belt that delivered made-to-order dishes, and even little robots that brought drinks and wasabi right to your table. The miso garlic salmon was one of my favorites, and the beef with yakiniku sauce was super good too. Even the desserts were way better than I expected — definitely worth saving room for.
