Lucky Mizu Reviews
Nestled on Level 8 of the AC / Moxy Hotel, Lucky Mizu is definitely a vibe — sleek, moody, and perfect for pretending you’re cooler than you actually are (mission accomplished, thank you very much). When we went, it was practically empty — just a few other diners. With that said the service was attentive and speedy. Now, onto the sushi. I stuck to the raw side of life, and while some bites had me doing a happy little dance in my seat, others left me emotionally unfulfilled. The Toro and Wagyu, which I came in hyped for, sadly didn’t deliver that melt-in-your-soul magic I was expecting. But everything else? Solid to above average. There were definite highlights that would pull me back in for a round two.All in all, it’s a cool spot with potential — not quite sushi nirvana, but definitely worth another visit. Especially if you’re looking for good vibes and low-key luxe with your sashimi.
Apr 07, 2025 · Timmy CI was so scared to come here after seeing this low rating even though I was actually shocked when I saw the pictures of this restaurant.Today since I was here at AC hotel again for the roof top Christmas vibe. I finally came here to eat.You will be definitely disappointed if you are Asian. You will go what is this? hot pot? You get charged for this little sxxt. But it was actually not that bad. It is my first time eating hotpot in a night club vibe. This “spicy kitty bomb” that you can dip into the soup to add spicy level is cute. What’s the meaning of not trying any more? you just assume all the result before giving a try, or just listening to others? Then just assume everything because failure is not worth life?Something new, not that horrible. Order that cute Kitty Sake.At least, I found something else here, check on Wanderlust here.

Nov 23, 2024 · julio sandovalShowed up solo with a reservation. Easily the very best shabu shabu I’ve ever had, the sushi was delicious as well. Atmosphere was amazing and I met some of the musicians at the next door bar who were awesome. Angie, my server was great and overall a very worth it experience as a non LA person.
