Manse Teriyaki Introduce
Located at 383 Butler Ave in Monroe, WA, Manse Teriyaki is a Japanese restaurant aiming to serve the local community with its range of teriyaki and other Japanese-inspired dishes. While the platform category "Doctor Near Me" typically directs users to healthcare services, in the context of Manse Teriyaki, it could be metaphorically considered a place one might seek for a quick culinary fix or a casual meal. However, based on the highly contrasting customer reviews, potential diners approaching Manse Teriyaki should be aware of the widely differing experiences reported by patrons.
For individuals in Monroe seeking a Japanese food option, Manse Teriyaki, reachable at (360) 863-0359 or +1 360-863-0359, presents itself as an establishment offering various Japanese dishes. This introduction will objectively present the available customer feedback to provide a balanced overview for local users.
The provided reviews offer no specific details regarding the interior environment or ambiance of Manse Teriyaki. The customer feedback focuses almost exclusively on the food quality and specific menu items. This lack of descriptive elements about the physical space suggests that Manse Teriyaki might be a more utilitarian or casual dining establishment, where the emphasis is primarily on takeout or quick, functional meals rather than a curated dine-in experience. Without explicit information, it is not possible to elaborate on aspects like decor, seating arrangements, or the general atmosphere. However, many teriyaki establishments prioritize efficiency and value, leading to a more straightforward and less adorned dining area.
The provided reviews do not offer extensive details about the service aspects beyond the food itself. One reviewer mentions a discrepancy regarding coleslaw, stating it's available "only if you dine in otherwise you don鈥檛 get it," which indicates a specific policy for dine-in versus takeout orders. This point highlights a detail about the service offering that might affect customer expectations, particularly for those ordering for consumption elsewhere. Beyond this, there is no direct commentary on staff friendliness, attentiveness, or order accuracy in general. The highly polarized views on food quality (discussed below) indirectly suggest that the overall customer experience could vary significantly depending on the dish ordered and individual expectations. The brevity of the reviews regarding service implies that it might be generally functional, without outstanding positive or negative aspects that warrant extensive commentary, aside from the specific coleslaw policy.
The culinary offerings at Manse Teriyaki are the central point of contention in the provided reviews, showcasing a stark contrast in customer experiences. This suggests a highly inconsistent food quality or a significant difference in preference among diners.
- Negative Experience (Orange Chicken, Rice): One reviewer had a severely negative experience, describing the food as "terrible."
- The orange chicken was noted for having a "brown sauce" and "tasted microwaved." The meat was described as "chewy and most pieces i had to spit out," indicating a significant issue with texture and preparation.
- The rice was found to be "very dry" and suspected to be "frozen prior or maybe it鈥檚 the microwavable rice?" These comments point to a lack of freshness and proper cooking techniques.
- The comparison to "worse then panda express" at "$15 a plate" indicates a perception of poor value for money, leading to significant disappointment.
- Positive Experience (Chicken Teriyaki, Yaki Soba): In stark contrast, another reviewer consistently finds the food "always delicious."
- Specifically, the chicken Teriyaki and yaki soba are highlighted as favorites.
- The meat is described as "tender," directly contradicting the "chewy" description from the other review.
- This reviewer's statement, "I keep coming back To this place," demonstrates strong loyalty and satisfaction.
This dichotomy makes it challenging to objectively characterize the food quality. It implies that certain dishes might be prepared better than others, or that the consistency of preparation varies. The presence of coleslaw for dine-in customers only, as mentioned, is another specific feature of their offering. Ultimately, the features of Manse Teriyaki's food appear to be a high-stakes gamble for new customers, where the experience could range from consistently delicious to deeply disappointing, depending on the specific order and perhaps the day of the visit.
Based solely on the provided reviews, there is no explicit promotional information about Manse Teriyaki beyond its basic offerings. The conflicting reviews themselves, particularly the very strong positive sentiment of one reviewer ("I keep coming back To this place") versus the very strong negative sentiment of another ("super disappointed!"), act as a form of unmanaged, organic promotion or caution. For local users in Monroe searching for "Japanese food near me," Manse Teriyaki presents a mixed bag. The restaurant's phone numbers ((360) 863-0359 / +1 360-863-0359) and address (383 Butler Ave, Monroe, WA 98272) are available for ordering or visiting. Potential customers should weigh the highly divergent experiences. If a consistently "delicious" chicken teriyaki or yaki soba is sought, it might be worth trying, especially for those who appreciate "tender" meat. However, those considering other menu items like orange chicken, or who prioritize consistent quality and value, might exercise caution. The community value of Manse Teriyaki, therefore, appears to be polarized, serving as a reliable favorite for some, while leaving others "super disappointed."

May 16, 2025 路 Filiberto GalavisUnfortunate review, but Love this place, it's the best in town for Monroe. The spicy chicken so perfect. The regular teriyaki chicken for others definitely lacking in sauce applied when ordered compared to spicy chicken. Then they charge more for sauce, shoot they charge more for more salad than rice (I am not a big rice eater). The small drizzle for regular teriyaki should not cost more compared to spicy.Hate to say but I make very similar at home with chicken thighs, but have been loving this place for years since have lived here since 98. I am pretty sure we should be one of top customers in 2020 and 2021 馃ぃ But with price increases for what costs them about $5 (in food) roughly I'm gonna have to take our $ and I will continue cooking at home.I just wanted to give review of place since like it a lot, but when walk out before with $40 for 2 (she doesn't like spicy) it's ridiculous. Pic is the regular teriyaki chicken
Aug 23, 2024 路 K VThis has been our go-to teriyaki spot since moving to monroe about 5 years ago. I just got home with our latest take-out order and it looks like they've drastically reduced the amount of teriyaki sauce they include in the takeout orders. The sauce container is way smaller. There's not even enough sauce to cover all the chicken. Maybe trying to push more sauce sales? It doesn't make any sense.
Mar 07, 2025 路 Derek IdlerAll of the food was very good, and portion size was a good value for the money. Unfortunately, the interior of the restaurant is dumpy and customer service is lacking with an adequate but unfriendly person working the front counter.
