Good local place served a very nice seafood soup and spicy lobster roll. Staff was friendly. Big smiles. Just what I wanted. Atmosphere is comfy. Thats my speed. Low ratings by others seem to have to do with staffing, which is a fact of life for most everyone in a service/retail biz. I had no issues. Very good value too, I might add.

Can't beat the cash prices and the sushi is really good! Great selection of rolls and I've tried most of them now. Highly recommend the Sunshine or Tiger Rolls in particular. Great service, as well! The staff are always really nice to us and our friends. Been coming here for a few years now and will keep coming back! Take out or dine in, can't go wrong. You'll probably wait a bit to be seated if you come btwn ~6:30-8pm on a weekend.

We've dined at Masago before and have a positive experience, but we ordered take out on Saturday and unfortunately found a bandaid in our sushi. To their credit, they were prompt to respond on the phone, followup by text and offered a refund if we brought the dish back to the restaurant. However, they denied that this bandaid was one stocked at their restaurant or worn by any of their employees. We were mostly worried about food safety of ourselves and other guests from that day.

Bring cash if you come here. The cash discount (50%) is signficant and makes this a gem. One of the most reasonable sushi/sashimi places in the area if you pay with cash. Fish is always fresh and presented nicely. The Teppanyaki dishes are done in the kitchen and are better than most table show places in the area. They are also cheap if you pay with cash (I think 30% less). Service is efficient but not terrific. It can get extremely busy at times.

Food is always good and you can't beat the cash price. I usually order takeout but the fews times I've dined in have been good experiences. Service was prompt and polite.
