Misono Reviews
Misono is a Japanese restaurant located right off of VFW Parkway in Brookline, I've been coming here ever since I was a small child and have experienced many things. One thing that stands out is the presence of a koi pond within the restaurant, which brings a big deal to the atmosphere. Service is also friendly and able to remake orders if needed, though the staff are very knowledgeable and don't tend to mess up orders. The food however, can be hit or miss. They specialize in Japanese, but do have Korean options as well. I've tried many things, such as the sushi, bibimbap, kimchi stew, spicy udon, and many more. I liked the spicy udon and tonkatsu from here, as well as the sushi. Prices are on the more expensive side though, but the quality is pretty good. What I didn't like are some of the specials, like the Hwe Dup Bab, which just didn't taste right even though its chilled fish. Most other dishes are average good, not outstanding but not bad either.Misono is a nice restaurant to go to while in the area.
Jan 20, 2025 · Nick SEnjoyed the 갈비 비빔밥 (Galbi Bibimbap) which is essentially marinated beef short rib in a mixture of white rice and fresh vegetables and a fried egg. It was delicious and an enjoyable experience watching the food cook in the hot bowl right in front of me. The rice at the bottom crisped up and gave the dish that extra crunch I was not expecting. It was a pleasant surprise and I'd come again.
Feb 21, 2024 · Tim RozA cozy well designed Japanese restaurant, good food quality. They have happy hour until 3pm except on Sundays. They have sushi and sashimi which comes with miso soup as well as Korean dishes such as Bibimbab. I will for sure go back.
May 05, 2022 · MahsaA night out with some friends from work with decided to come in and eat at this restaurant. We check out the menu menu before going in. We noticed it look very delicious..Two complains about this place. , the waiter is rude. She doesn’t know how to speak to customers, no manners. I think her name is Sue. I spent almost $200 that night. It was almost 7:30 and two of my friends wanted to order some sushi to go. The waiter said it was late. I couldn’t figure it out. What kind of response is that in a place is trying to make businessThe only thing it was great it was great was the sushi I ordered. The rest of the food was awful taste. I have eaten asian food however this was Awful. I don’t think I will be returning. This restaurant is less Japanese than anything else
