Mizu Reviews
This restaurant is the most comfortable and delicious spot you can find in the area. The Korean dishes are especially outstanding. I’ve tried the Korean-style short ribs and several types of soup, and everything was authentic and generously portioned. The rolls and sushi are also excellent—great quality for the price.I think the photos speak for themselves when it comes to the taste. And the orange slices they serve at the end are always a sweet and refreshing touch. 5 STARS!
Apr 10, 2025 · Seong Hee KimWas really hoping for this place to be good! Food was average. Average sushi and the korean beef I got was not authentic nor tasty. The sushi was okay I'll give it a 6/10 since the sushi was falling apart when we were trying to eat it. Rice was not intact, taste was okay. The miso soup was excellent! However, I left kind of disappointed in what we ordered. Service was amazing!Sushi: 6/10Miso soup: 9/10Gyoza: 8/10Korean beef dish: 4/10
May 27, 2025 · Sher HerWe’ve been talking about how we wanted to try this place and finally took a chance on it… the food is very overpriced. The terriyaki chicken breast was spongy and overall a terrible texture. the salad was disgusting (personal opinion), the miso soup was mid. both things of sushi either had gross rice or just wasn’t well made. overall this place is a waste of money and time. go get takka sushi in santee 😭
May 25, 2025 · Wendy-Elizabeth RemersStopped by for some dinner. Serving sizes were really big and overall was a good value. The food was pretty tasty. I liked the Korean beef a lot. The stir fry beef and sesame chicken weren't as good. The vibe is a bit "run down" and there are some intimidating notes emphasizing no refunds even if you are unsatisfied with your dish (which was a bit off-putting), but once you're in there the service was great.
Jun 13, 2024 · Peter DocteroffWe came here because it was down the road from where we were having a conference at. I am not a huge sushi fan because I do not eat fish. We came in and the people working were super sweet. I ordered spring rolls and a cucumber roll. The spring rolls were great and the sauce it came with was good. The cucumber roll was awesome and tasted great. My food came out pretty quickly after ordering, which I appreciated. My partner ordered real sushi and it looked really good, the presentation was nice. The only thing I would say about this place was that our bill had an automatic 20% gratuity on it, which I thought was interesting given it was just me and my partner who dined. I tip at minimum 20%, so it was not a big deal to me, but I thought that it should be mentioned.
