Mt. Fuji Reviews
Since I was a little kid I remembered being curious about the “mystery building” on top of the mountain while driving upstate to visit family in the Adirondacks. 30 something years later my husband and I made the stop there and I was blown away. Absolutely gorgeous grounds and such a beautiful and clean restaurant with a great view! The service was great! Great drinks and food! Katty put on a great show. She was so funny and energetic. This place is no longer a mystery to me, instead it will now be a pit stop along the way upstate. I highly recommend!!
May 20, 2025 · MorganI came here twice in the past few months - once for a friend's birthday, once for mine. My friend's birthday was EXCELLENT! We had so much fun with our server, she was super engaging and funny and really put on a good show. The food was good, and so were the drinks, and we really had a great time.A few months later, I planned to come back for my birthday so my nephew could experience the same fun! We were seatet in a different location (probably because we had a smaller party), which was ok, but it was very tight and we were sitting on top of each other. So much so, that we were wrapping our arms around the next person's chair to be able to have some room. Our server, while very polite and friendly, did the whole show thing but it was at the energy level of bare minimum. Sometimes it was even hard to hear what he was saying. He didn't do any of the same type of fire tricks or loud songs/jokes to get people hyped up. It was just ok. We kept looking over at other tables that were being loud and fun, wondering why we were not having the same experience.I was super disappointed for my birthday celebration, because my nephew said it was just ok and he wouldn't have liked to miss airsoft for it LOL.I think consistency is key, and all of the staff should come with the same energy for every celebration, otherwise it's quite expensive to not be sure of what you're going to get.
May 18, 2025 · Jena VignolaThis spot was on my list for quite some time. Our experience at Ft. Fuji was slightly disappointing from the start. Although the restaurant was half-empty when we arrived, it still took longer than expected to be seated despite having a reservation. The food is hibachi-style, which we were not expecting. The prices were steep for what was offered, and unfortunately, the ventilation was poor. Smoke and fumes from the grills filled the air, making the atmosphere uncomfortable throughout our visit. Our clothing smelled of smoke and fumes from the food.To top it off, the service left much to be desired—staff seemed inattentive, and we felt overlooked during the meal. For the price and ambiance, it wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they make some serious improvements.Driving up towards the establishment was good since there was no cars driving down. Once at the top of the mountain, you have to find where to park due to the lack of signage, you have to figure it out yourself. We were hoping for a memorable experience but that wasn’t what we experienced.
Oct 28, 2024 · George EspinalConsistent, delicious, super fun chef with all the great singing and tricks. We've been coming here to Mt. Fuji on the mountain since I was a girl, 35+ years. A family favorite, highly recommend, skip a meal! We always have left overs. Delish!!
May 27, 2025 · Meghann ElizabethWe came here for a wedding reception. It’s a great location. Beautiful views especially right now in the fall season. There is valet parking and a coat check room. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of cool decor outside end downstairs. The food was very good. I would definitely come back to for a dinner visit.
