Muto Sushi & Bowl Introduce
In the bustling landscape of Seattle's culinary scene, Muto Sushi & Bowl stands as a dedicated Japanese eatery, aiming to provide a taste of authentic flavors to its local community. Located at 2118 NE 65th St, Seattle, WA 98115, USA, this establishment offers a convenient option for those seeking Japanese cuisine, fitting well within a "Doctor Near Me" style platform by catering to immediate cravings for specific culinary experiences.
Muto Sushi & Bowl cultivates a casual and approachable atmosphere. While some patrons describe it as having a "to-go" vibe, suggesting a focus on efficiency and convenience, it is also recognized for its quality that can rival more formal sit-down restaurants in Seattle. It's often perceived as a "perfect casual place for a great meal," making it suitable for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner without the need for an overly formal setting. The interior, though described as small by some, provides a cozy environment for dining.
Muto Sushi & Bowl specializes in a range of popular Japanese dishes, focusing on freshness and flavor. Their menu prominently features a variety of options, including:
Sushi Rolls and Nigiri: A selection of classic and specialty rolls, alongside fresh nigiri, including generously cut salmon nigiri that has been praised for its melt-in-your-mouth quality.
Poke Bowls: Offering customizable poke bowls with various fish options like salmon and tuna, alongside fresh greens and traditional Japanese accompaniments.
Katsu and Curry: Their katsu has been noted for being "perfectly crisp," and the curry described as "perfect," providing a comforting and flavorful option.
Udon and Ramen: Udon soup is highlighted for being "clean yet rich and flavorful." While the available information primarily focuses on udon, some references to Muto Izakaya (which may or may not be directly affiliated or the same establishment in this specific location) suggest ramen as a specialty for a chef named Taka.
Other Japanese Favorites: The menu also includes appetizers like gyoza, takoyaki, and various salads, such as seaweed salad and avocado tofu salad.
Muto Sushi & Bowl also offers online ordering and delivery services, making it a convenient choice for those who prefer to enjoy their Japanese meal at home or on the go. You can reach them by phone at (206) 773-5120 or via mobile at +1 206-773-5120 for inquiries or to place an order. Their physical address is 2118 NE 65th St, Seattle, WA 98115, USA.
Customer reviews provide a mixed but generally positive perspective on Muto Sushi & Bowl. Many patrons express a strong appreciation for the quality and freshness of the food. Comments frequently highlight the deliciousness of dishes like the katsu, curry, udon, and sushi, with specific praise for the texture and flavor of their white rice and the generous portions of fresh fish in their nigiri.
For example, one satisfied customer remarked, "Love this little addition to our neighborhood. Stopped by for lunch and was very impressed. Although small and it has a 'to go' vibe, the quality and freshness rivals many sit down places in Seattle. The katsu was perfectly crisp, curry was perfect, even the white rice served had a nice texture and flavor. Udon soup was clean yet rich and flavorful. Salmon nigiri was VERY generously cut, fresh, and melt in my mouth. The chef was very kind to us. I was honestly shocked at some of the reviews here because I love this place and will surely be back. Perfect casual place for a great meal." Other positive feedback includes commendations for "great food, wonderful staff and customer service," and consistent quality in packaging for takeout orders.
However, it is important to address a noted concern regarding food safety. One review specifically mentioned a "King County food safety rating of 'Okay,'" and expressed discomfort returning until the rating improves. This customer observed that the fish in their poke bowl had a "slightly dully color, and quality of the veggies left a lot to be desired." It is important for potential diners to be aware of this and to consult the latest King County food safety inspection reports for the most up-to-date information. As of recent inspections, Muto Sushi & Bowl has received varying results, including "Unsatisfactory" on some routine inspections, indicating areas where improvements are needed in food safety practices, particularly concerning issues like proper cold holding temperatures, food worker cards, and warewashing facilities. Patrons are encouraged to check the King County Public Health website for detailed and current inspection scores.
Despite these varied experiences, the general sentiment among many loyal customers points to Muto Sushi & Bowl being a reliable spot for flavorful and satisfying Japanese fare, particularly for those in the neighborhood seeking a casual yet quality dining option. While specific promotional information is not readily available, the restaurant's value proposition often lies in its balance of quality ingredients and reasonable pricing, which is a form of promotion in itself, appealing to those looking for a good meal without a hefty price tag. Their popularity for lunch and as a convenient "to-go" option also suggests a focus on efficient service.
For local users searching for a Japanese restaurant through a platform like "Doctor Near Me" (understood here as a locator for specific services, even culinary ones), Muto Sushi & Bowl presents itself as a neighborhood Japanese restaurant that prides itself on fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes, offering a casual and convenient dining experience. It's a place where you can quickly satisfy your craving for sushi, a warm bowl of udon, or a hearty katsu curry, making it a viable option for those looking for a quick and satisfying Japanese meal in the Seattle area.

Oct 18, 2024 · April MedinaWow, I should’ve trusted the King County food safety rating of “Okay”. We each got a fish poke bowl, and the fish did not look appetizing. The fish had a slightly dully color, and quality of the veggies left a lot to be desired. Honestly, I would feel really comfortable coming back here after the safety rating improves
Mar 28, 2025 · Wesley FranksSadly the worst ramen I’ve had in Seattle. Egg was hard and very cold (and slightly green). I ate in shop and was served everything in a plastic bowl and with a plastic spoon. Broth wasn’t great, meat was sub-par, portion was small, but the noodles had good texture! As someone who loves ramen and lives close by I’m disappointed. The people working there were nice, just not worth the $20+ dollars for everything after all was said and done.
Jun 07, 2024 · Connor CloseYuppp love how they’re going, nicely decorated interior, clean with some seating. Touch screen ordering system, makes it easy for ordering. The staff was only somewhat friendly, kind of gave off a rushed cold feel even though I was only one of two customers at the time, but its not like they were rude by any means, and I guess they don’t have to be cheery all the time, but still, a little more cheeriness would have done them favors. Got the Unagi bowl and it hit the spot, good portion size.
May 14, 2024 · VannyReally high quality sushi and Japanese food. The fish is fresh and the sushi rice is good. We come here for takeout weekly now that we’ve discovered it. It’s a great addition to Ravenna! Definitely worth a try!
