Dine-In Hand Roll Experience: The core offering is the sit-down experience, particularly at their U-shaped counters where diners can watch chefs prepare fresh, open-style temaki. The ambiance is described as "warm and inviting," perfect for enjoying hand rolls fresh off the counter.
Temaki Sets: They offer curated temaki sets, such as the "Classic Set" (e.g., California, Tuna Avocado, Yellowtail Scallion, Salmon Cucumber, Spicy Tuna) and the "Signature Set" (e.g., Tuna Poke, XO Scallop, Coconut Shrimp, Salmon Serrano, Cucumber Black Sesame). Customers can also "create your own set" by choosing any five from the classic temaki selection.
Small Plates & Appetizers: Beyond hand rolls, Nami Nori provides a selection of "Japanese-inspired snacks" and small plates. Popular items include Crispy Rice Chips with various dips (spicy tuna, mushroom), Corn Ribs, Wasabi Cucumber Tataki, and Tempura Misto.
Brunch Service: Nami Nori offers a dedicated brunch menu on weekends (typically Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM - 7 PM), featuring unique temaki options and special brunch cocktails alongside their regular menu.

Incredibly Fresh Ingredients: Across the board, customers praise the "incredibly fresh" fish and high-quality ingredients used in their hand rolls and small plates. Specific mentions include the freshness of salmon avocado, toro scallion, and aka ebi.
Addictive Crispy Rice Chips: The house-made crispy rice chips, often served with dips like spicy tuna, are consistently highlighted as "seriously addictive" and a must-try appetizer.
Innovative Flavor Combinations: Nami Nori is celebrated for its creative takes on temaki fillings, such as XO Scallop, Coconut Shrimp with green curry, and Salmon Serrano. Even their desserts, like the Mochurros, demonstrate this innovative approach.
Warm and Inviting Ambiance: The restaurant's atmosphere is frequently described as "warm and inviting," "chic and welcoming," and "modern and minimalist." It strikes a balance between casual and sophisticated, making it ideal for various occasions, from a casual lunch to a special date night.

Thoughtful Beverage Pairings: The seasonal sake flights and creative cocktails are designed to perfectly complement the hand rolls, enhancing the overall culinary journey.
Vegan Options: Nami Nori offers a dedicated "Plant Based" section for temaki, including options like Sweet Potato Tempura, Crispy Tofu Chimichurri, and Eggplant with red miso, ensuring accessibility for all dietary preferences.
Nami Nori Williamsburg provides several special offerings and structured menus that enhance the value and experience for its patrons:

These provide excellent value for a high-quality meal.
Brunch Menu: Their weekend brunch (Saturday & Sunday, 12 PM - 7 PM) offers a unique experience with special brunch-exclusive temaki like Tomato Tamago or Smoked Whitefish Tamago, along with creative brunch cocktails like the "Cherry Bomb" or "Matcharita."

Nami Nori Williamsburg Reviews
The brunch experience was incredible. We took from the classic temaki selection and everything we tried was absolutely delicious (salmon avocado was the best). Those house made crispy rice chips were seriously addictive. Ambiance was warm and inviting & service was very kind. Will definitely be back !
April 27 · Amandip KaurI usually get takeout, but I finally had the chance to sit down and try the hand rolls. We started with the seasonal sake flight, which paired perfectly with the hand rolls. For small plates, we had the corn ribs, which were well-seasoned, and the spicy tuna dip—it was absolutely amazing. The hand rolls were incredibly fresh. We ordered the toro scallion, spicy crab dynamite, XO scallop, coconut shrimp, salmon Serrano, and aka ebi.I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have the spicy lobster hand roll or the tempura misto available. For dessert, the Mochurros were fantastic—such an innovative combo of mochi and churros! I wasn’t a fan of the lemon curd that came with it, but the Mochurros were great on their own.
May 17 · Jamie LGood food, good ambiance, good service. Didn't try the drinks menu. Hot green tea was nice. Tempura a little undercooked inside on the calamari but we didn't come there for the appetizers. Hand rolls were good. Staff friendly. The whole menu is a la carte, only the 3 sets at the bottom of the menu are fixed price. A tad confusing because at the top of the temaki section the menu says "choose any five".
February 15 · Arushi Parikh-KaushikThe restaurant is cute and cozy, and the staff is friendly. The ambiance can be a bit loud, so you’ll need to stay close to talk, but overall, it’s a great spot for a casual dinner. The seafood is fresh, and I love the combination of different ingredients—it adds more layers to the roll. My favorite is the salmon skin. All the appetizers we tried were great. I’ll definitely come back!
January 17 · Nancy YenWe went on a busy night with no reservation and they were able to put us at the bar! The bartender was so kind. He made us great drinks and helped us with the menu. Everything we had was amazing! We each got one of the samplers and an added one. I highly recommend getting a variety. The atmosphere is very ascetically pleasing also! Very cute and clean!
