Nana’s Green Tea Introduce
In the vibrant and diverse culinary landscape of Seattle, where an array of global flavors entice residents and visitors alike, **Nana’s Green Tea** carves out a distinctive niche, offering a specialized taste of Japanese dessert culture and a compelling menu of savory dishes. Located at 1007 Stewart St #103, Seattle, WA 98101, this establishment has garnered a reputation for its authentic matcha creations and more. When considering the platform category "Doctor Near Me," a truly unique and engaging interpretation can be applied to Nana’s Green Tea. Just as a doctor provides a specific diagnosis and treatment for a health need, Nana’s Green Tea offers a delightful "prescription" for your sweet cravings, particularly those seeking the unique, nuanced flavors of matcha and traditional Japanese desserts. It’s a specialized "wellness center" for the palate, providing a specific and highly effective "remedy" for those moments when only an authentic Japanese parfait or a perfectly crafted matcha latte will do. It’s a culinary specialist, ready to address your desires for refreshing, authentic flavors with precision and expertise.
The **environment** at Nana’s Green Tea is described as surprisingly spacious and inviting, offering ample room for patrons to relax and enjoy their treats. This contrasts with many urban cafes that can feel cramped. Reviewers highlight "a lot of sitting area," both inside and outside, which is a significant advantage in a busy city like Seattle. The interior likely features a modern, clean aesthetic, possibly incorporating elements of traditional Japanese design to create a serene and pleasant atmosphere that complements the offerings. While there might be "a very long line when you first enter," the positive feedback that "it goes fast" suggests an efficient system in place to manage customer flow, indicating a well-organized and high-volume operation. The option for outdoor seating, though requiring "food to go," adds to the versatility of the space, allowing guests to enjoy their matcha and parfaits al fresco on pleasant days. This combination of spaciousness, efficient queuing, and indoor/outdoor options creates a comfortable and accessible environment for a wide range of visitors, from those seeking a quick treat to groups looking for a place to linger and socialize.
The **services** at Nana’s Green Tea are designed to be efficient and customer-friendly, even during peak hours. The "quick service" is frequently noted by customers, which is crucial given the potential for "very long line." This efficiency suggests a well-trained staff and optimized processes for order taking and preparation, especially for popular items like parfaits and matcha drinks. While the outdoor seating arrangement requires ordering "food to go," this clear communication helps manage expectations and streamline the service flow. The overall impression is one of professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring that despite potential queues, customers receive their orders promptly. The service model focuses on delivering high-quality products swiftly, catering to both those who wish to dine in leisurely and those who need a quick treat on the go. This balance of speed and quality enhances the overall customer experience, making it a reliable destination for satisfying sweet cravings or enjoying a light meal.
The defining **features** of Nana’s Green Tea revolve around its authentic Japanese offerings, particularly its acclaimed matcha and parfaits. The "parfait was amazing" is a recurring sentiment, with customers going back "the next day because of how good it was." These parfaits are not only delicious but also noted for their generous size: "it's really big! just make sure you have friends to help you eat." This makes them ideal for sharing or for a truly indulgent solo treat. The quality of their "matcha" is also a primary draw, as it's the core ingredient for many of their signature items. Beyond desserts, Nana's Green Tea also features savory options, such as the "Sukiyaki Don," described as "great, just a tad but too salty," and "karage," though noted as "over fried." This indicates a broader menu beyond just desserts, catering to a wider range of culinary preferences, even if the primary strength lies in their sweet offerings. The combination of "great drinks" and a "cute place" further adds to the overall appeal, making it a delightful spot for both casual visits and special occasions. The commitment to authentic Japanese flavors and generous portions are key features that set Nana's Green Tea apart.
In terms of **promotional information** and what local users should know, Nana’s Green Tea is highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful Japanese dessert experience, especially those with a fondness for matcha and elaborate parfaits. It’s a popular spot, so while lines can be long, they move quickly, making it a feasible option even during busy times. The restaurant's phone number is (206) 785-6477 or +1 206-785-6477 for inquiries. While specific pricing isn't detailed, the mentions of parfaits being "worth every penny" and "really big" suggest a good value for the portion size and quality. For local users, Nana’s Green Tea can be eloquently aligned with the "Doctor Near Me" concept as a specialized "Japanese Dessert & Matcha Clinic." When you're experiencing a craving for something uniquely sweet, refreshing, or authentically Japanese, Nana’s Green Tea is the specific "specialist" in Seattle that offers the perfect "remedy." It’s not about medical health, but about satisfying a specific kind of culinary desire with precision and expertise, providing a delightful and uplifting "treatment" for your taste buds. Whether you're a matcha enthusiast or simply looking for a unique dessert adventure, Nana’s Green Tea provides a compelling reason to visit.

Nana’s Green Tea Reviews
The parfait was amazing. We went in to try their matcha but noticed they also sold parfaits and it was worth every penny. We ended up going back the next day because of how good it was. The service was quick as well with a lot of sitting area. If you are going to sit outside you do have to order the food to go but it wasn't much of an issue. Both inside and outside are spacious

The Sukiyaki Don was great, just a tad but too salty and the karage was over fried. It's a cute place with great drinks!
May 29, 2025 · Kaylee TThe customer service and atmosphere were superb. Try to come early to grab a table, otherwise it is a bit of a wait. Food does come out really fast. You can ask during ordering to hold off the dessert while you’re eating your meal. All food items were delicious. I could do without the sakura cake. I prefer my cake on the moist side, this was too dry for me. It does pair well with hojicha as is.
Mar 25, 2025 · Janie HuynhNana’s Green Tea is a must-visit for matcha enthusiasts, and their Matcha Mochi Parfait is a standout dessert. This layered treat features house-made matcha pudding and syrup, creamy matcha ice cream, vanilla soft serve, chewy mochi, red bean paste, cornflakes, and whipped cream, creating a delightful mix of textures and flavors. The parfait has a balance of sweetness and authentic matcha bitterness. The café's clean, modern interior provides a cozy atmosphere for enjoying this indulgent dessert. Whether you're a matcha aficionado or new to Japanese sweets, the Matcha Mochi Parfait offers a satisfying and memorable experience.

We got a Matcha Ice Cream cone (which was delicious by the way), and a Matcha Parfait (which was amazing). The staff were dressed up some for Halloween, which was cute. Great service throughout our time spent here and would happily go again next time we are in the area.
