NaRa-Ya Reviews
The food was ok a little pricey for the portioning. Before ordering we were told that it will be family sized plates and they definitely were not. My favorite dish was the French toast had great flavor. Also the view was nice and the staff were extraordinary.
Apr 25, 2025 · Casmonae SimonRight now, I can’t get enough of Nara-ya! I’ve mainly been for brunch, and their bottomless brunch with small plates is an absolute winner. Each dish is packed with flavor, and I particularly adore the matcha pancakes—they're simply divine! Anything matcha here is a must-try, and their steak and eggs are deliciously green and bursting with taste. The tea is fantastic as well, making it the perfect accompaniment to any meal.I also enjoyed the bottomless mimosas, which were the perfect touch for a lovely brunch experience. Recently, I took my sister, her friend, and another buddy for a midday catch-up, and we all loved the vibes. The ambiance is so inviting, and the atmosphere is super cute in the decor—definitely adds to the charm! The service was solid, too. If you're looking for an amazing brunch spot, Nara-ya should definitely be at the top of your list! Also was celebrating some birthdays and accomplishments and we were brought shots and a cute dessert. Love it here
May 16, 2025 · Chelsea AndrewsNara-ya is a gorgeous spot, perfect for a cute date night. The decor is stunning, with lots of florals that make the whole space feel romantic and inviting. It’s definitely a place where the ambiance stands out, and the attention to detail in the design adds to the experience. The service was great, and the presentation of the dishes was just as beautiful as the space itself. As for the food, the sushi was okay—not bad, but not the best I’ve had. The flavors were good, but nothing particularly memorable. If you’re looking for a place with an amazing vibe and solid drinks, this is a great option. I’d come back for the atmosphere alone, but I’d probably explore more of the menu next time!
Mar 18, 2025 · ElaineI went to Nara-Ya and had their bottomless brunch and mimosas. You have about two hours to eat and drink. The food was pretty amazing and our waiter Malcolm did a great job taking care of us and making this a great experience. The space is beautiful and the location makes it great for shopping and walking around before/after your meal.
May 27, 2025 · Rochelle LouisThis is one of the most beautifully decorated places I’ve been to in DC. My friends and I went before a concert at the Anthem and had had a great time! The service was great though slightly slow but we never felt rushed. They were nice and accommodating. The HH is where it is at, especially when it comes to the Bartender’s choice and food. All of the rolls we ordered were delicious. I will definitely be back, especially for their happy hour.
