New Fujiya House Reviews
To start off the service is VERY bad the server that was taking care of us did not know how much anything extra cost nor knew how to work the cash register to look up a price He told me to add tofu it would be $11 for five pieces. Then, after that our table was already full, they added additional three more people, so we were crammed in sitting elbow to elbow to each other. It was very unpleasant in with the fire from the hibachi. It was extremely hot sitting like that. The Server took our orders and we had two children which we ordered from the kids menu not only did they get Food that we didn’t order in the people in our table ordered, but it was so badly in my four year old ask for more sauce and seasonings. Our Cook was the most boring is cook we ever gotten anywhere. He did not speak to anyone of us, and he just hurried up and cooked the food and went away. Some of us ordered steak, shrimp, chicken all of it was very chewy, and very, very bland or very SALTED down. Where you could not enjoy that meal. It was a waste of time coming here in a waste of money. We will never be back here, and I definitely do not recommend this place to anybody. They are more hibachi places in town that are worth your wild and you get your tummy full.
Apr 08, 2025 · NehaMy family enjoys a fun hibachi experience and we have been looking for a good spot in the Fredericksburg area. We tried Fujita House and were happy with our choice. There was a wait, once seated, before we ordered and started to receive our food. The soup was tasty and the salad was very good, especially the dressing. Our cook was very friendly and entertaining/interactive. I had the steak and chicken combo, the steak was good and the chicken could have been a bit better (a tad chewy on some pieces). The rice was good and the vegetables were tasty and well seasoned. We will be returning.
Feb 28, 2025 · Clint HardingI wanted to like it. It's pricey. Family of four with tip, almost $160. The service was good and the chef was skilled with the regular tricks and nice...the food was just average and too much. Also, it's very dated like stepping back into the 90s. Everything was very sticky too because of the oil splatter. My cup was even sticky and this was before the griddle was on and cooking. Probably won't be back. I can do this on my deck for 5 days with prime steak from Costco for this price. I'd skip it. Sushi was just OK. Pieces were too big and needed to be a little smaller. The steak was overcooked. Son asked for medium rare and got medium well and I asked for medium and received well done.
Mar 18, 2024 · JPlace had good reviews so we ordered takeout on a Tuesday night. $85. Two Ribeye hibachis with fried rice and an Order of Gyoza. They were supposed to be medium rare. They were WELL done. The steak is so thin I don’t think you could do a medium rare on it. Super tough and dry. Hunks of fat included throughout. Shown in picture is just a sampling. We also ordered gyoza which the menu showed as shrimp. It was not shrimp, maybe pork? It was also pretty flavorless, not a hint of soy sauce or seasoning on the steak at all. Supposed to have improved under new ownership but save your money and go to Kobe for the hibachi experience you are expecting.
Jan 15, 2025 · Krista StrobelWe love this place! Our kids beg us to take them here often and we love it too. The staff are amazing, owner is very personable and kind (comes around to make sure everything is up to par) and though hibachi is generally expensive, it's worth it here. The cuts of meat and veggies are always fresh and taste amazing. We love the sushi too! 10/10 Highly recommend.
