Nikko Teriyaki Introduce
Nikko Teriyaki, located at 6621 S 211th St #105, Kent, WA 98032, positions itself as a readily accessible Japanese restaurant in the heart of Kent. For local users, especially those staying at nearby accommodations like the Hampton Inn, the convenience of having diverse dining options within walking distance is a significant advantage. In the context of a "Doctor Near Me" platform, while Nikko Teriyaki doesn't offer medical services, it provides a different, albeit essential, kind of service: quick, convenient, and often comforting meals that cater to daily needs. A satisfying meal can indeed be a source of well-being, and for many, the ease of access to hot food after a long day or during a busy schedule is as important as other local services.
The environment at Nikko Teriyaki, based on customer feedback, is characterized by its casual and functional setup. One reviewer noted that "the ambiance was a bit sad," suggesting a no-frills approach to décor. This typically implies an eatery that focuses more on efficiency and serving food quickly rather than creating a luxurious or highly themed dining experience. However, its accessibility, particularly for those staying at nearby hotels, is a clear benefit. The restaurant appears to cater to a quick-service model, where patrons can order at a counter and either take their food to go or dine in at available tables. While the aesthetic might not be a strong point, the emphasis seems to be on providing a straightforward and convenient place to eat. This type of environment is common for teriyaki establishments, which often prioritize speed and value.
Customer service at Nikko Teriyaki receives positive remarks in the provided reviews. One reviewer specifically mentioned "Good customer service, she was very helpful." This indicates a staff that is attentive and willing to assist customers with their orders. This aspect of the service can significantly enhance the dining experience, even if the ambiance is less than ideal. Efficient and polite service is crucial for a quick-service restaurant, and it appears Nikko Teriyaki generally strives to meet these expectations. The convenience of its location also contributes to its service appeal, making it a viable option for those seeking a quick meal without extensive travel.
Regarding features, Nikko Teriyaki offers a menu that includes various Japanese-inspired dishes, primarily focusing on teriyaki. Reviews suggest that the menu selections are broad, encompassing items like Chicken and Beef Combo, Fried Rice, and a standout "salad that comes with it." While some reviews indicate positive experiences with the taste, such as "it tastes good" and specific appreciation for the salad, others present a stark contrast, describing the food as "nasty nasty" with concerns about temperature ("Fried Rice was cold") and taste of meat ("the meat just did not taste right not sure may been old old old sat out to long"). This mixed feedback highlights an inconsistency in food quality, which is a significant factor for any restaurant. However, the presence of combo meals, such as the Chicken and Beef Combo, suggests an effort to provide variety and value. The complimentary salad is a noted feature, adding to the meal experience for those who enjoy it.
Promotional information, while not explicitly stated as marketing campaigns, can be inferred from the customer reviews. The mention of its walking distance proximity to the Hampton Inn serves as a natural promotion for travelers. The very act of a customer deciding to "try" the restaurant despite some negative reviews, influenced by seeing "so many people at lunch time," indicates that visible patronage can be a form of promotion, suggesting a perceived popularity. However, the strong negative warning to "TRUST ME was that BAD!" and recommendations to "go next door to the BBQ" for better value underscore the challenges Nikko Teriyaki faces in maintaining a consistently positive reputation. The mixed reviews present a dual promotional message: on one hand, some customers find it satisfying and appreciate the salad and helpful service; on the other, significant concerns about food quality and value are raised, potentially deterring new patrons. For local users considering Nikko Teriyaki, these varied experiences mean that while it offers a convenient option, the dining experience may be inconsistent. Thus, for those seeking a culinary "Doctor Near Me," Nikko Teriyaki presents itself as a quick fix, but one where individual experiences may vary widely.

Nikko Teriyaki Reviews
We check in at Hampton Inn. We're very happy about 5 restaurants from different cuisine that was walking distance. First time to eat here despite some reviews with 1 star. We decided to try. We like it. Specifically, the salad that comes with it. It's ok. Good customer service, she was very helpful. I know the ambiance was a bit sad, but it tastes good.
Oct 21, 2023 · Noreen VizeckyJust nasty nasty food here at Nikko does anybody bother to read reviews. I normally do but this time saw so many people at lunch time thought hmmm cannot be that bad... TRUST ME was that BAD!Fried Rice was cold, the Chicken and Beef Combo the meat just did not taste right not sure may been old old sat out to long but man, it was not worth it.Waste of money, go next door to the BBQ I have had them couple times for your money its well worth itYou been warned
Apr 02, 2025 · Ron KnightBusy place during lunch. But they crank out orders very quickly, usually well within minutes. The dining room is cramped. Most of the time you need to excuse yourself to squeeze by other guests. Tables and chairs are old with cracked and peeling covers. Not particularly clean; not neat for sure.Service attitude is not terrible, but not great either.Spicy chicken is one of the favorites on the menu. Portion size is pretty generous. I will never order the veggie fried rice ever again. It’s pretty much all rice with a sparse of frozen peas and carrots. Very disappointed.
Dec 14, 2022 · C HHuge portion of chicken yakisoba, decently priced. Maybe they were just understaffed that day but the crowd was not organized by online orders vs. dine-in patrons, so I waited longer for my food than necessary. Good deal though, I will come back for lunch again!
Feb 27, 2025 · Natalie Ops7Food looked like it was a day old, but ate it anyways. Didnt taste very good and I paid for it. Got food poisoning and was on the toilet all night. Not a fun experience. Went there expecting normal teriyaki but it was definitely not good. Restaurant was also dirty and our food came out really quick so you knew it wasn’t fresh. I would highly recommend going anywhere else than this place.
