Nori Sushi & Grill presents itself as a "nice little place with a good atmosphere." This suggests a generally pleasant and perhaps cozy dining environment, suitable for a casual meal. However, one specific review points out that "the inside of the restaurant itself is super claustrophobic." This feedback suggests that the interior might feel somewhat cramped or enclosed to some diners, which is a factor to consider for those who prefer more spacious settings. Despite this, the overall impression of a "good atmosphere" implies that for many, the environment is agreeable and contributes positively to their dining experience. The restaurant's appeal as a "nice little place" might stem from its intimate setting or local charm. As a "Doctor Near Me" in the culinary sense, the environment, though potentially small, aims to provide a comfortable space for your gastronomic remedy.
The service at Nori Sushi & Grill generally receives positive remarks, with customers highlighting the friendliness of the staff. One reviewer explicitly stated, "The service was great," while another mentioned, "Our waitress was very nice." This indicates a commitment to providing a pleasant and welcoming experience for diners. The staff appears to be attentive and courteous, which is a significant factor in customer satisfaction. However, a minor point of feedback notes that the waitress "was a bit forgetful at times," though this was observed "near closing time," which might account for some lapses. Another review, while praising the overall service, focused on issues with the food itself rather than the service delivery. This suggests that while individual staff members strive for excellence, there might be occasional inconsistencies. Overall, the service at Nori Sushi & Grill appears to be a strong point, with friendly interactions and a willingness to accommodate, much like a helpful assistant in a "Doctor Near Me" office. While minor forgetfulness might occur, the general consensus points to a positive service experience.
Nori Sushi & Grill offers a menu that spans both sushi and grilled items, aiming to cater to a variety of Japanese cuisine preferences. The teriyaki dishes, specifically "Chicken Teriyaki, and Salmon Teriyaki," generally receive positive feedback, with customers stating that "Overall the food was good." These dishes typically come with soup and salad, offering a complete meal. However, the accompanying salad dressing is noted as being "drenched in sauce," which might be a point of preference for some. When it comes to sushi, the reviews are more varied. While some find the food "good," others express significant disappointment, particularly with basic rolls. The "California and the Avocado Rolls" were described as looking and tasting "prepackaged" and "bland, even with Wasabi." The miso soup also received criticism for being "not good," with "barely any tofu and served cool to the touch." This disparity in feedback suggests that the quality of sushi might not meet the expectations of experienced sushi connoisseurs. However, other sushi items like the "Spider Roll" and "Salmon Avocado Roll" were part of a meal that was deemed "good," indicating some successful sushi offerings. The restaurant appears to be a more reliable choice for grilled dishes like teriyaki. The pricing is consistently highlighted as "definitely good," offering a budget-friendly option for Japanese food. For those seeking a quick and affordable Japanese meal, particularly grilled dishes, Nori Sushi & Grill presents a viable option. For those with highly discerning sushi palates, expectations may need to be managed. As a "Doctor Near Me" for your culinary needs, Nori offers a broad range of options, with varying degrees of success across its menu categories.
While explicit promotional deals or discounts are not extensively detailed in the provided customer reviews, Nori Sushi & Grill's primary promotional strength lies in its "definitely good" pricing. This affordability makes it an attractive option for those seeking a budget-friendly Japanese meal. The convenience of its location on TN-46 also serves as a subtle form of promotion, making it easily accessible for local residents and those passing through Dickson. The general positive sentiment about the teriyaki dishes and the "nice" atmosphere also contribute to its appeal, encouraging repeat visits for its reliable comfort food. As a local establishment, Nori Sushi & Grill likely relies on word-of-mouth and its consistent offering of affordable Japanese cuisine to draw in customers. While no specific happy hour specials or loyalty programs are mentioned, the inherent value proposition of the restaurant acts as its ongoing promotion. It is always advisable for potential diners to check the restaurant's official website or social media channels for any seasonal specials or new menu items that might be introduced. In essence, Nori Sushi & Grill promotes itself through its accessible pricing and a menu that offers satisfying options, especially for grilled dishes, making it a convenient and economical "Doctor Near Me" for your everyday Japanese food cravings.

Nori Sushi & Grill Reviews
People that consider this 5 star sushi really need to get out more. Both the California and the Avocado Rolls look and taste prepackaged. Bland, even with Wasabi. The service was great and the price is definitely good but pallette-wise even the Miso wasn't good. Barely any tofu and served cool to the touch. Reading others experiences here actually had me hyped for good Sushi and I was highly disappointed. Plus the inside of the restaurant itself is super claustrophobic.
May 28 · Michael RichardsonWe had dinner and ordered Spider Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, Chicken Teriyaki, and Salmon Teriyaki. The teriyaki dishes came with Soup and Salad. Overall the food was good. The salad was drenched in sauce. Nice little place with a good atmosphere. Our waitress was very nice, but was a bit forgetful at times. It was near closing time though.
November 27 · Francisco LeungHands down, the best Japanese restaurant in Dickson, TN!I’ve been here 3 times in the last month and I’m going back tomorrow night for dinner with my son & DIL.First of all, the wait staff are great! Knowledge and friendly. The food is delicious and cooked perfectly! The scallops were seared just right and the shrimp has never been overcooked. My son said his steak was good and cooked just the way he liked it.The veggies were also tender but still crunchy. And the ginger salad dressing is great. I probably could drink it by the quart?I haven’t had a lot of the sushi yet but what I have had was really fresh tasting and good.On my first visit, the woman at the table beside me said, if I’m craving sushi and the restaurant is closed, I’ll either wait or drive to Nashville because Nori has the best sushi in Dickson!I think the hibachi is definitely the best in Dickson and right now I can’t seem to get enough of Nori?
March 26 · Laurie DavidsonThe best sushi I have had in a long time! The prices are very reasonable and every time I have dined in or ordered carry out, I have had a positive experience, the staff are helpful and friendly and the orders are always 100% correct! My favorite restaurant in Dickson!
March 08 · Melissa MThis was my first time here since the change over. IT WAS AMAZING. The atmosphere is calming but also inviting. They have so many options when it comes to food. The hibachi was good, but the ramen was also delicious. The staff was super friendly and I’d highly recommend it!
