Oishii Ramen Reviews
I wanted noodles, and i got just that and more. Dont let the size of this restaurant fool you. The flavor that the food packs is hugh. My wife and I love ramen and can't wait to come back here for more great tasting food. It is definitely worth a stop in. Dont forget to add a milk tea to the meal you won't be disappointed.
April 06 · Zachary CaseyOrdered the Karrage Chicken and Okonomiyaki for appetizers. The pancake was premade and frozen then fried. So much better when freshly made. The chicken was dried out. Veggie Ramen (Yuzu Shio) and Shio Ramen with chicken chasu the mushrooms, tofu, and chicken were very sweet and threw off the savory nature of the ramen. Taro milk tea was made with powdered milk product. Not worth the money. The staff was nice enough but we asked for Sriracha and got sweet chili sauce.
January 18 · Global Foodie52If you like variety, flavor, and quick service then this place is for you! We ordered the pork chasu buns, the fried chicken, tonkotsu ramen with chicken and shoyu ramen with pork, a Thai Tea and a Sakura tea with strawberry jelly! The price was very reasonable especially with the generous portions and toppings in the teas. Everything was delicious! The staff were friendly, quick to clean up and kept the place looking nice! They also give the option to order at the counter or on the machine which is a nice accommodation for people who need it! We will definitely be back!
February 15 · Cendra ShepherdAuthentic Ramen in the LaGrange Area!I had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Japanese Ramen restaurant today. Located conveniently near my home, this place could quickly become my new favorite spot for a hearty bowl of ramen. But It's the restaurant's grand opening day, and I want to leave a good review.Service: The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and eager to explain the menu offerings. There was a little delay, but I understand it is their first day. Also, they could provide a cup of water.Ambiance: The interior of the restaurant and the restrooms were clean. The simple interior was cozy. The glass window of the main door needs to be cleaned. It's perfect whether you're dining solo, with friends, or with family.Food: The ramen I had today was Sukiyaki Ramen. As a meat lover, the meat in this ramen tasted like Korean bulgogi. I highly recommend this ramen, but the Shrimp Tempura Udon is not recommended. I've tried and reviewed a lot of Japanese restaurants in my life, but I've never found them worth the price. The tempura shrimp tasted like frozen food from the food depot and not homemade. The menu has four Udon noodles, but I won't even try the rest.Price: Compared to other Asian Japanese restaurants based on flavor and quality, it is expensive. However, it's their first day, so I'm sure they'll improve.Overall: The Udon was definitely not good, but the ramen was excellent. I will return at least once more to try their other ramen dishes. Hopefully, I will be more impressed on my next visit. I wish this local business every success.
July 25 · Joe ChoThe food is good, if expensive for what it is. $29 for a bowl of ramen, a pork bun, a (bottle of) tea and tip. Thats a lot for a lunch… or a dinner even for one person. The atmosphere is standard contemporary blah. Sterile and uninviting. Nothing special. It is clean, though. Order at the counter and go sit. They bring it to you. I lament the death of full service. If I’m paying $30 for a lunch, I should have a server and… service, and not be ordering McDonalds style at a counter. The gentleman working was nice and accommodating. Will I be back? Maybe. It’s nice to have this type of food as an option so close. The price is just too off-putting for a regular place to go.
