Wow, I never leave reviews but feel like I have to after this experience. Ordering our food, waitress made everyone feel uncomfortable, no smiles, just annoyance for us even being there. Got a new york steak, that thing was so small, it looked like a quarter of a regular size steak. Noodles had zero flavor. Then the whole hibachi, it was by far the worst I've seen. Zero interactions, guy didn't say a word. Only "trick" he did was the onion volcano. Like really??This place used to be good, really disappointed to see how far it's fell off. Cream cheese in the sushi roll tasted rotten, might want to throw that out!

Tried the iso and Ichi maki rolls, both of which were LEGIT. Wife also had salmon sashimi (fat, FRESH pieces) and I had taco sushi. For the states, a definite repeat. Total bill for x2 rolls, salmon sashimi, x2 orders taco sushi, x1 miso soup, x1 cucumber salad, a beer and a root beer came out to $85.

We decided to try on Jan 1st 2024 , this little Japanese place after years of being curious. We made a reservation for the hibachi table at 1 pm. We were pleasantly surprised! Very nice annd clean inside, and was welcomed with a smile. It’s not often you are welcomed with a smile anywhere these days. They took our drink order, brought us a very crisp and fresh salad with delicious ginger dressing, and a very good warm soup. The chef was amazing at grilling our food. We had the hibachi steak and shrimp with fried rice. We also ordered a California roll which was delicious! Very well done. Great quality food that was cooked to perfection. Tasted so good !!! Costumer service was excellent. Reasonable prices too. It has been a challenge for us to find a A+ Japanese restaurant. We are so excited to have found this secret jem in the rough. This will now be our new go to .

This place is so disappointingly average in every way. My boyfriend and I came here for our 6 year anniversary dinner and I sincerely regret wasting a celebration night on such a mid place for a special occasion.Service was slow and started out quite unfriendly. Our chef provided good service, but that was the only highlight.We got the combo for two with steak, chicken, and shrimp. Starter salad had very salty dressing. The fried rice and noodles were so overdosed with soy sauce, they were both inedible. The proteins were just extremely blah, nothing special.I just can’t believe how blah this place is. Cannot recommend. I’d say go to Shogun if you’re looking for decent teppanyaki.
