First of all, the food and service was good.If you like truffle, you are at the right address. The food was a little bit "overtruffled", they put it on nearly everything. The sushi chefs work unnecessarily fast and seemed a little stressed. We took the premium Omakase and were done in less then one hour.The strange thing is, that its kind of a two-class restaurant. The Omakase experience is on the second floor of a touristy looking japanese restaurant. We had to double check if we arrived at the correct location. Upstairs you get ac, the restrooms are downstairs but seperated.

For $65 you get two appetizers, 10 pieces of nigiri, aged miso and dessert. The opening appetizer was unbelievably delicious and beautifully presented-- served in a bowl, it included King Salmon, Ikura which had been marinated in brown sugar, wagyu, and rice. Other standouts were the King Salmon served aburi style and garnished with a number of flavorful accents and the Otoro with caviar. Sea bream, scallop, snapper, tuna, Spanish mackeral, and ikura nigiri were also served. The ikura, because of the brown sugar, practically tastes like candy. The desert, matcha mochi with little crispy rice accents was the perfect note to end the meal on. And the service was excellent--the waitress and chef were thoughtful, attentive, pleasant and addressed the origin and preparation of each piece served. Highly recommend for their fresh, inventive and affordable omakase-- and hope to go back soon!

The service was very kind and friendly, a lovely calm environment upstairs and counter seats let you see the chef prepare the sushi. We loved it and will come back! Also the yuzu spritzer was delicious.

Everything is very fresh and the staff is very knowledgeable. Also did I say everything is authentic? (they make their own ginger slices which is pretty rare to find in the city. I recommend this place 10/10!

He was very thoughtful on the pacing of our meal, observing how we were conversing, to time the prep of each dish perfectly. He explained each dish and ingredient with much detail and just had a genuine smile the whole time. Our servers were also great. The Omakase was 👌👌👌 and we ordered a few extra bites after. Highly recommend!
