The restaurant is particularly noted for its authentic and tasty Banh Canh. Reviews highlight the thick, flavorful broth, with one customer noting it reminded them of a tomato broth, suggesting a rich and savory base. The noodles are described as thick vermicelli with a satisfying chew. Popular dishes include Bánh Canh Trảng Bàng (Udon with Pork Belly, Pork Knuckle, Cubed Pig's Blood), Bánh Canh Suông, Chả Cá, Giò Heo (Udon with Shrimp Sausages, Fish Cake, Pork Knuckle), and variations with crab meat. The restaurant's commitment to authentic Vietnamese flavors is a recurring theme in customer feedback. Many appreciate that the dishes taste like homemade, providing a true taste of Vietnam. While some mention the fish sauce can be strong, it is noted that this is true to the authentic nature of this noodle type in Vietnam. The soup base is consistently praised for being delicious, and the meat toppings are often described as great. They specialize in Vietnamese udon noodles, seafood dishes, and congee, with highlights including freshly made lobster udon soup and weekend crab noodle dishes, which showcase their dedication to fresh and quality ingredients.

First time having vietnamese udon and I enjoyed it. Thick broth that reminds me of a tomato broth. The noodles are like thick vermicelli with a little more chew to it. Good portion size. They take credit card.

May 04, 2024 · Huy TranThis restaurant is not an elegant restaurant where you would want to take someone on your first date but, the Vietnamese traditional udon is delicious! The broth is thick, flavorful, and rich in depths. Situated at a corner of a small plaza, the parking can be a pain to find during the weekend and during Tet. If you like the Vietnamese tomato crab noodle (bun rieu) then I recommend you to try it at the restaurant as they only serve this over the weekend! They also serve fresh sugar cane drink as well. This is a cash only restaurant but, there is a BofA and Wells Fargo bank across the street if you need cash!
