Quickfire Hibachi Reviews
This place used to be so good that I was getting it about once a month. Unfortunately it seems there was an almost entire staff overhaul and now the food is subpar at best. You can tell they precook the chicken plain and then just reheat it with your sauce of choice bc it is so very bland it's not funny. They also used to do extra sauce if you asked and now it seems like you have to beg for just a regular amount of sauce. I'm not sure if quickway bought out quickfire or what but it's just terrible now. I got the salmon and it was so disgusting that I threw it to the animals outside. The vegetables are super hard and barely cooked and the rice has absolutely no flavor and large chunks of white rice in the middle. So they aren't even fully frying the rice properly and just half assing that too. I'm honestly so disappointed. For the chicken to be as bland as it is when I am pregnant and my taste buds are extremely sensitive is just sad.
Mar 28, 2025 · Taylor TingleyThis is one of our favorite places to eat! When I first tried it many years ago, I actually didn't like it! I tried it again and for the life of me could not figure out why I didn't like it at first. The staff is very nice. They cook the food in front of you which creates a nice vibe. They give you a ton of food! I always get the noodles and chicken with no vegetables, and oh my word, it's so delicious! They also give out cards with purchase that offer your fifth meal free. The food is insanely good. There are lots of tables inside if you prefer dining in or you can take it to go.
Dec 15, 2024 · sarah watersThis is a fast food Hibachi and Japanese restaurant in an unpretentious shopping mall in Mount Airy maryland. Service was very quick and the menu extensive enough for everyone to have a choice. I had the bento box with salmon. I'm doubting it was really salmon. It looks suspiciously like tilapia to me. Otherwise everything was good and the servings were much more generous than expected.
Sep 18, 2024 · Russ JohnsonI’ve been here several times, but the food today was the first time it’s been disappointing. The noodles were lumpy in each of the orders. In the chicken and shrimp hibachi, there were like 3-5 pieces of shrimp max. In the bento box, the egg rolls were extremely dull.
Feb 01, 2025 · Neer RaybaruahAverage atmosphere , food was edible but not like a real hibachi lots of onions and no other vegetables reasonable price. Ceiling tiles and interior dont match the exterior that draws you in.
