Ever since Shiba Ramen is closed, I had hard time to find a go to place for Ramen around that area.I am glad that Ramen Hiroshi is here! I have tried SF one and really like it so I am glad we have one in Emeryville. The only thing I hope they could do better is to make the broth much warmer. Usually ramen should come with very hot broth so that when you finish the noodles, broth will not become cold. (partially because most of their topping are cold so that makes soup even colder)I understand that in the food court, having such hot broth in crowd place with self-service style may not be a good idea due to safety reason but I’d hope that they could proactively offer this as an option. - Anita Shen

Ramen Hiroshi Introduce

For ramen enthusiasts across California, and particularly those nestled in the vibrant East Bay, Ramen Hiroshi has emerged as a delightful and reliable destination for authentic Japanese noodle soup. Located within the lively Emeryville Public Market, Ramen Hiroshi brings the rich, comforting flavors of traditional ramen to a convenient and accessible setting. After the closure of beloved local spots like Shiba Ramen, many have been searching for their new go-to, and Ramen Hiroshi has stepped up to fill that void with its quality broths and satisfying bowls. This comprehensive article will delve into what makes Ramen Hiroshi a fantastic choice for locals, covering its strategic location, diverse menu, range of services, and the unique features that make it a standout in the California ramen scene.

Ramen Hiroshi is celebrated for its commitment to delivering authentic Japanese ramen. For those who appreciate the intricacies of a well-made broth, Ramen Hiroshi offers a compelling experience. As one reviewer, who has even "made Tonkotsu ramen from scratch," enthusiastically states, "This place is fantastic." The menu features a variety of ramen styles, including their signature "Hakata Style" Tonkotsu (pork bone broth), available with both thin straight noodles and curly thick noodles, and various chicken-based broths like Shio (sea salt), Shoyu (soy sauce), and a refreshing Yuzu option. There's also a rich Miso ramen that combines chicken and pork broth, and a creamy sesame-based Tantanmen with spicy ground pork for those who enjoy a bit of heat.

While the general consensus is overwhelmingly positive about the taste and authenticity, some patrons have expressed a desire for the broth to be served hotter. One customer noted, "Usually ramen should come with very hot broth so that when you finish the noodles, broth will not become cold." They acknowledge that in a food court setting, providing extremely hot broth might be a safety concern, but suggest proactively offering it as an option. Despite this minor point, the overall quality and reasonable pricing, "especially for the Public Market," make Ramen Hiroshi a highly appealing choice for a delicious and satisfying ramen experience.
