Ramen Nagi Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For ramen aficionados across California, especially those navigating the vibrant culinary landscape of Los Angeles, the name Ramen Nagi often evokes thoughts of rich broths, perfectly cooked noodles, and a truly customizable dining experience. Hailing from Tokyo, where it boasts numerous accolades, Ramen Nagi has brought its legendary bowls to the heart of Westfield Century City, quickly becoming a must-visit spot for locals seeking authentic Japanese ramen. It's a place where you can dive deep into a bowl of perfectly crafted ramen, tailored precisely to your preferences, making each visit a unique culinary adventure.
Ramen Nagi has garnered a reputation for its exceptional ramen, even amidst the occasional challenges of a popular eatery. Customers frequently highlight the "absolutely delicious" ramen, confirming that "the food is definitely worth it" even if it means navigating "long lines" and "crowded seating" during peak hours. One delighted diner declared the ramen "very good," with the "Red King" being a particular favorite. While the "Green King" is also noted for its unique basil and olive oil fusion, some, like one reviewer, might find it "a bit cheesy" if that's not their preference. The "quality" of the ramen is consistently praised for its "rich" broths. While the karaage (Japanese fried chicken) might be "too sweet" for some palates, the overall consensus is that the ramen itself is the star of the show, delivering on flavor and authenticity. Despite the crowds, the "line moves reasonably fast," indicating an efficient operation. The lively, energetic atmosphere and the ability to customize every element of your ramen, from broth richness to noodle firmness, contribute to an engaging and personal dining experience that keeps Angelenos coming back for more.

Ramen Nagi Reviews
Long lines, crowded seating, but great ramen. If you come during peak hours, be prepared to wait a long time. The location of Ramen Nagi makes it a very popular spot, so I recommend eating here before peak hours when it gets packed. Please take note that this location is not designed for large parties. Highly recommend sitting by the kitchen if you have the chance. The ramen itself was absolutely delicious. If you don't mind the long wait, the food is definitely worth it.
Jan 12, 2025 · Elias JuarezVery good ramen! My favorite is Red King. Green King is good too but it’s a bit cheesy and I don’t like cheese. The karage is too sweet for me.There’s usually a wait outside, but the line moves reasonably fast.
Jan 17, 2025 · AriAuthentic Japanese ramen house without flying. I was in Tokyp, Kyoto and Osaka earlier this year. Yip, this place is just like how they operate overseas. It's legit. So efficient. Though, there's always a line, you are always given a simple menu/order sheet and marker to finalize your order while you wait. As soon as you are seated the service staff take your order and start working on it right away in 10 minutes our ramen was hot and made to order. The other items, not in the order sheet, but highly recommended are the chicken karrage (not pictured) and gyozas (pictured.)Sitting at the counter was fun. You get to see the magic and the efficiency of operations. The ramen chef was fun to watch.
Nov 30, 2024 · Henry TingOh my goodness! We waited in line for ~30mins, but it was SO worth the delicious ramen that was waiting for us. Absolutely a must try— the broth was so rich and I am delighted to be in a food coma due to this restaurant. Gyoza was wonderfully crispy. Would very much recommend!
Feb 09, 2025 · Gail SuwarnaUnbelievably fantastic ramen. I had the squid ink via chefs recommendation, and it did not disappoint. Service was super efficient and friendly. A wonderful surprise on my visit to an often homogeneous and bland Century City mall.
