Ramen Star Reviews
Small quaint location, can fill up if busy/weekends. More on the expensive end, likely justified by “noodles made in house.” Some ramens are as much as $28. Haven’t tried too many ramen places in Denver but have in California. This one was recommendedOrdered Takoyaki - would recommend these octopus battered balls topped with dried octopus shreds, kewpie mayo, and sweet Takoyaki sauce.Broth: by default, I like Miso so that’s what I ordered as a starter ($18) Thought it was mediocre, not too hearty, and kind of plain and saltier for miso broth. Also ordered the Spicy miso ($19) which.. wasn’t spicy at all!The Ramen Star is their Tonkotsu equivalent.Noodles were good - cooked well and chewy.Street parking. Thought ramen star was just okay.. will try other places before returning back to this one.
Apr 19, 2025 · Allis NguyenThis is my favorite Japanese Ramen restaurant I've been to in Denver! They make there noodles in house along with many other additions. The dinner menu is excellent and there brunch menu is just as delicious! You can get japanese pancakes topped with amazing toppings and whipped cream! The katsu sand is also a great choice to handle your savory taste buds.
May 29, 2025 · Jordan EvansIt was a vibe. Very fun experience, sushi is delicious, and ramen is the best. The new brunch menu is awesome and includes delicious Japanese pancakes! Our server Brian our server was very nice too.
Apr 27, 2025 · Harper HammondExcellent! This place might have the best kara-age I've ever had. Fried to perfection and served with good sauces. I had the spicy mazemen (which doesn't have broth in it) and it was delicious! Great service too. Will be back again. Highly recommend!
Apr 25, 2025 · Peter HCame in and got water served. Once we ordered, we Waited about an hour and 10 mins for our food only for the food to come out cold. We ordered five bowls of ramen and the fat in the broth has already began to solidify back. We ordered curry as well and same thing, fat was solidifying and top of the rice was getting hard from sitting out. We had to ask twice for the status of our food before they even cared. Paid 12.50 for a kids meal to get some cold noodles, bland chicken, and two pieces of pocky sticks as a snack. The extra items like extra meat or spicy paste was also not brought out. Customer service was lacking, the only time they checked on us was to bring the water and take our orders. When asked how much longer for our food they answered that it was taking a while because they were taking care of online orders. If I could give it a lower review I would. Keep in mind as well, there was only four other people in the restaurant with us so it was not busy at all in the restaurant. Images are of some of the stuff we got.
