RED Asian Cuisine Reviews
Amazing food!! Casino restaurants can sometimes be sketchy, but RED is fantastic. The Shoyu Ramen is absolutely dreamy 馃槏 with fresh noodles, thick cuts of pork belly, thin sliced ginger, scallions, bamboo shots all bathed in a perfect broth.. The Brisket fried rice is a complete meal all on its own, with large tender pieces of mouthwater brisket (we always order one on the side to spilt).. This has become one of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas and I highly recommend it when you are in the Downtown area. Definitely a Hidden Gem 馃拵 鉁笍.
Dec 10, 2024 路 David EllingworthRight off the bat, I'll admit that we didn't actually eat here so I can't really comment on the quality of the food or service, but the restaurant itself is nice enough. It's located in the Golden Nugget Hotel.I'm mainly rating this because my wife and I were really looking forward to a good sushi meal and expecting a large selection of nigiri and sushimi. Had to wait until Thursday as they aren't open most of the week.We went there ready for a great meal only to find that the sushi selection was extremely limited. We saw only salmon, yellowtail and tuna. We asked the chef about making nigiri or sashimi from those three (only two show up on the menu) and got a vague answer. The prices were pretty high too. We wound up going elsewhere for a meal.Later on, at prime time when almost all of the restaurants in the hotel were doing a brisk business, Red was literally empty with the wait staff and chefs just standing around. Got the feeling others found the same disappointment we did.Now maybe the food that they do serve is ok, it definitely wasn't what we were expecting from a classy resort restaurant. My wife and I have been eating sushi for many years and even the tiny Asian restaurant in little Athens, TN has a much better selection.Judging from the menu and lack of customers at prime time, I'd say this place may be on the chopping block soon if they don't make some changes.
Apr 22, 2025 路 Dennis BellDining at Red is a must when I visit Las Vegas. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always spot on. It's a small venue but worth the wait should there be one. Enjoy!
Oct 14, 2024 路 Lady AnodyneThe staff are friendly, the food is okay. I was not overly impressed, in particular with the costs. The sushi was no better than what I can get at Kroger. The noodles Dan were decent. They had good flavor and it was filling.
Sep 23, 2023 路 CybermastifWe had a late-night dinner here during our stay at The Golden Nugget. We ordered pot stickers, ramen, and the white tiger sushi roll (see photos). Everything was really good. I easily made a meal out of the sushi roll, it was huge. Our food was ready pretty quickly, service was good, and the prices weren鈥檛 bad. The menu is not huge but has a little bit of everything. We鈥檇 definitely come back here again.
