Absolutely fantastic sushi! We started with two orders of the sushi omakase (9 pieces, chefs choice) and followed it with a couple of rolls.Everything was fresh and delicious. We ordered a sake, and our server brought a tray of sake glasses to choose from. A very nice touch.I highly recommend eating here.
Feb 23, 2025 · Trena KraftI had an incredible late Saturday dinner here! I ordered a selection of specials, sushi, and some yakitori and everything was incredible. The miso-marinated salmon cheek was spectacular, it basically melted in my mouth! The sushi was great, I had an order of negitoro nigiri and a salmon, cucumber, avocado hand roll which was perfect. For yakitori I had the chicken hearts and pork belly both of which were cooked perfectly and tasted incredible. I also had a very generous pour of the Mushohai sake which accompanied the meal so well.I enjoyed the very relaxed feeling and atmosphere. I sat at the sushi bar which was perfect as a solo diner. It really felt like a perfect small family restaurant in which I was very welcomed and treated very generously and graciously.Thank you so much to the chefs and my delightful server. Arigatou gozaimasu!
Mar 02, 2025 · Kelsey GrunstraA true gem in downtown SF! Came on a week night and was half full, with some takeouts here and there. May not need to make a reservation if weeknights. I was astounded by the variety of the sushi rolls, sashimi, and the appetizers. The octopus wasabi and agedashi tofu were fantastic, the octopus was very fresh I could eat a big bowl! I devoured my sashimi, sushi and roll set and wanted to come back for more!
