- Incredible All-You-Can-Eat Value: This is the paramount highlight. Customers are consistently "happy to report that our meal was so worth it" due to the "wildly low price tag" for an AYCE option. The value of $31 per person for dinner, covering an extensive menu, is a major draw.
- Wide Variety in AYCE Menu: The AYCE menu is not just about quantity but also variety. It includes a "wide variety of classic sushi, maki, and even specialty roles," along with "hot and cold appetizers, ramen, fried rice, etc." This extensive selection ensures there's something for every palate.
- Always Fresh Sushi: Despite being an AYCE establishment, the "sushi is always fresh," a crucial aspect for any sushi restaurant. This commitment to freshness sets it apart from many other AYCE options.

## Promotions or Special Offers
Sakana Sushi & Japanese Cuisine's most prominent and ongoing "special offer" is its highly acclaimed **All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) sushi and Japanese cuisine menu**. This pricing model itself acts as a continuous promotion, offering immense value, particularly for New Jersey locals who love variety and quantity. The AYCE dinner price is noted as a "wildly low price tag" (around $31 per person, though prices can vary slightly and it's good to confirm current rates), which for the extensive selection available, is considered "so worth it."
Beyond the inherent value of the AYCE model, the restaurant also features:
- Diverse AYCE Selection: The "all you can eat" doesn't just apply to basic rolls. It includes a "wide variety of classic sushi, maki, and even specialty roles," along with "hot and cold appetizers, ramen, fried rice, etc." This extensive inclusion means diners get to try a vast array of dishes for one set price.
- Lunch AYCE Options: While the review highlights dinner, AYCE Japanese restaurants often offer a separate, typically lower-priced, all-you-can-eat option during lunch hours, providing even more value (it's advisable for locals to check current lunch AYCE availability and pricing directly with the restaurant).
- BYOB Policy: While not a discount on food, the BYOB policy effectively allows patrons to save money on beverages, making the overall cost of the dining experience more affordable, which is a significant "special offer" in itself for many.
For the most current pricing, specific inclusions in the AYCE menu, and any potential seasonal or limited-time promotions, New Jersey locals are always encouraged to contact Sakana Sushi & Japanese Cuisine directly at (862) 701-6000 or visit their official website or social media channels.

Sakana Sushi & Japanese Cuisine Reviews
So we were skeptical of their "all you can eat sushi" with the wildly low price tag, but we're happy to report that our meal was so worth it. You are able to choose from a wide variety of classic sushi, maki, and even specialty roles. This means that the measly 31 bucks a person for dinner stretches extremely far. All of the roles we ordered were delicious. However, the volcano roll and the salmon mango roll were the crowd favorites. If you are not a sushi person, there is also a nice spread of traditional Japanese menu items like udon noodles, steamed buns, pork katsu and chicken teriyaki. The only thing holding back a five-star review is that not all of the flavors came through on the traditional menu items. But at this price tag, the experience is totally worth it. We recommend going with a decent sized group of friends or family so you can try pretty much everything on the menu.Yes, there is a time limit, but it was no problem for our group of 4. I can imagine this place gets busy on the weekends, so definitely reserve a table in advance. This is a BYOB establishment 馃嵒
Apr 01, 2025 路 beerventurersBy far my favorite all you can eat sushi location. There's sooo much variety in their AYCE menu (hot and cold appetizers, ramen, fried rice, etc). Their staff is attentive and the sushi is always fresh. Great variety of special rolls and sashimi options. I recommend making a reservation on weekends as it can get busy.
Apr 23, 2025 路 Gabrielle PorrasI didn't get to take much pics of our food, but it was pretty good. They have a great selection of kitchen food and sushi. Their servings of their kitchen food are smaller and they don't give enough sauces. We were a group of 4 and they give 1 serving of dipping sauce. They don't even talk or ask of you need anything so customer service isn't great. At any Japanese restaurant they always give wasabi and ginger, this is the first place you order sushi and they didn't give us anything until we asked for it. It was unorthodox to be honest. Calamari always has some kind of sauce and they didn't have anything for it, also weird.I did really like the salmon skin roll, Godzilla Roll and the eel avocado roll. From their kitchen menu, we had the Kani Salad, Bacon Enoki, Beef Salmon and Shrimp Terriyaki, Sweet Potato and Shrimp Tempura. All delicious.I would go back I think they're worth it, just have to keep in mind that you have to ask for everything you need because they will not just give it to you.Plenty of parking and beautiful ambiance inside. Dinner time is really popular there so I would recommend to get there early before the evening rush or the wait may be long.
Mar 24, 2025 路 AC DThis place hits the spot! Highly recommend coming here with a very empty stomach! Everything is super fresh here, from their salads, raw rolls and cooked everything is delicious. Not too long of wait times either, I recommend getting a reservation. Great priced and attentive staff!
Mar 10, 2025 路 Marla MinnellaCome here and order off their buffet menu. Food always come out fast and always very good. Although it does seem that something is always forgotten when coming out. Doesn鈥檛 tarnish the experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone; it鈥檚 my go to sushi spot. Always end with ice cream too!
