Sakura Japanese restaurant Reviews
Just fair warning - don’t order here if you are really hungry. If you are doing pickup, make sure you call it in at least an hour before you go get it. They are the slowest when it comes to cooking. I put my order in 30-45 minutes in advance before even going there and every time it’s the same thing “Sorry - it’s still cooking”. Not coming here anymore.
Mar 28, 2025 · Mark McGuireWe had became regulars at this restaurant because to be a small business we thought the food was actually really good and priced decent. Sad to say the last 4 times we’ve went there has been a different issue each time and frankly we’re getting tired of it. We always place our order on the beyond menu app so we don’t have to call it in, they send you a text telling you approximately how long it will be and a time your food should be ready. Arriving each time within 5 mins after the time that was text to us, they would say “oh it’s not ready yet”. After the 3rd time this happened I asked why text a time if you haven’t even started it close to that time? Their response “we got busy”. This is all fine but if you can’t handle the online orders plus dine in plus call in orders, maybe cut back on one of them. Theres no reason we should have to wait 30 extra minutes after arriving at the time we were told to arrive for our food. The last straw was tonight we were 10 mins after the time we were text that our food would be ready and my phone was blowing up from the restaurant to see where we were. If the THREE sons would help more instead of being on their games and laptop at the counter it might would be somewhat better. It has gone downhill from when we first started going and it’s sad because we love to help small business especially family owned. But we won’t be back anytime soon.
