Sansan Ramen

4107 Crescent St, Long Island City, NY 11101, USA

4.0
Randomly visited this restaurant after work with a co-worker. Despite the mediocre reviews we decided to give this place a try. Needless to say, those reviews are warranted. At no point was there more than 1 additional person dinning, waited 40 minutes to be told that they completely forgot about our order at the kiosk. The happy hr was non existent but the prices aren’t bad. The spicy mango wings had not the least amount of spice, the sauce tasted very premade. We also ordered the karrage (Japanese fried chicken) was okay. The presentation was nice and for 9 dollars each plate, the portion size is nice. The inside decor is nice, the bathroom was clean. We also ordered wine and a beer- the draft beer was very nice but the wine wasn’t the best. My friend asked for them to comp us an extra glass of wine due to the wait and they agreed, which was nice. Overall, not bad but very mediocre. - Hak Bén
