Sanuki Udon Reviews
Highly recommended to the students and faculty around NYU, who wants hearty food without wait! I had the beef udon and I like that the beef is thick and has very generous portion. The tempura crab stick and the soft boiled egg are also really delicious!
April 22 · Xinyi XuI love udon and efficiency. This is a good place for udon lovers with almost everything is self-serviced. Very filling with the side tempuras and with reasonable price. Very convenient location for students who want fast warm food. Didn't take a pic of the self serve station with utensils/ sauces/ condiments/ water/ tea/ take boxes with brown bags. Plenty of seatings with coat hangers on the wall and section by the window. There's also station where to put your dirty tray. Feels like a school cafeteria type of system. They take cards with a fee. And, the restroom with a code.
March 02 · EvaThis restaurant is imported from Kagawa Japan to here in the U.S. and it’s phenomenal. Very close to NYU and I had to try it. The Udon is delicious and the tempura ,oh my. I love Udon and enjoy dining. This is the place to be
March 09 · Kam ZengVery reasonably priced Udon in a convenient NYU location. The ordering system is very efficient, where you request your choice of udon and move down the line to pick your tempura pieces.I ordered the Beef Udon, which came with THICC + tasty slices of beef, unlike other spots that may give the hotpot beef, so this was a pleasant surprise!Their broth is very savory as well. The tempura was very fresh, where the staff are constantly frying veggies and other protein. Highly recommend the Chrysanthemum Tempura - it was surprisingly really nice + light! The Sweet Potato Tempura was also sliced + fried perfectly. They have a separate counter of toppings, tea, and takeaway containers right behind the register, which is very convenient. The staff is prompt and there's ample seating. Overall, Sanuki Udon is a perfect spot for a quick bite, solo dining (or not), and most of all - reasonably priced!
February 02 · Veronica LeongI got the mapo tofu udon with 2 shrimp temperas. The food was really filling and good! I would definitely recommend this udon shop if you are looking for a place to eat quietly and dine in. The staff was really nice and the dining area here is also great!
