Based on the provided customer reviews, there isn't specific mention of traditional "promotions" or daily "special offers" in the conventional sense, such as happy hour deals or fixed-price menus. The primary "offer" that makes Seaweed Handroll Bar appealing, despite its potentially higher price point, is the exceptional quality and unique experience centered around their handrolls. Customers highlight that to manage costs effectively while still enjoying a filling and delicious meal, the strategy is to "GET HANDROLLS" as "they are the bread and butter and it's what you want to fill up on."
However, it's worth noting the discussion around the "18% dine in service charge" that is added to bills, on top of which patrons are still expected to pay a tip. While this is not a promotion, it's a significant aspect of their pricing structure that locals should be aware of, as it can lead to a "38% gratuity" when combined with a typical tip. Therefore, while Seaweed Handroll Bar may not advertise discounts, its ongoing "special offer" is the consistent delivery of high-quality, fresh handrolls and a memorable dining atmosphere. Locals interested in potential seasonal menus or other unique culinary events should consider checking their social media or calling directly for the most current information, as special chef's selections or limited-time offerings are always a possibility in such establishments.

Seaweed Handroll Bar Reviews
I can’t help but to rave about how delicious this was. If you’re going here GET HANDROLLS, I cannot stress that enough. They are the bread and butter and it’s what you want to fill up on or else your bill is going to get very expensive very quick. A little overpriced for what it is to be honest but the experience was well worth it.That being said Blue Crab handroll was dynamite, they also gave us these delicious little cones filled with spicy tuna. This is a place I would take a date that you’re trying to impress.
Feb 19, 2025 · Peter BonamiciI went to Seaweed last night and the food was great. The service was good as well. I would highly recommend the cucumber salad to start off with. It's one of the best I have tasted. Also loved the hand rolls. My server recommended the albacore, and it was spot on.So here is what surprised me in a not so good way. When I got the bill, I was charged an 18% dine in service charge. What the heck is that. On top of that, I am supposed to pay a tip as well. The food is great. Just be aware that you will be assessed an 18% DINE IN SERVICE CHARGE and then you will also have to pay a tip. So this is like a 38% gratuity that you are hit with.Come on really?
Feb 20, 2025 · Eugene YimIt’s a place you go for high quality sushi 🍣The price is on a higher end but you will understand why once you have your first bite. The seat setting is more like a bar. So it has a casual vibe. The art on the wall is very amazing! You must try their handrolls! :)
Nov 30, 2022 · CeeCee PengBest spicy tuna hand roll. The two times I visited this restaurant didn't feel cramped at all. They had plenty of seating and hooks to hang our bags under the table. The experience eating at the bar is the main attraction. The presentation of the smoked nigiri was fun to witness. The staff will check-in on us from time to time. The sushi is top tier so I suggested this restaurant to my family for my mom's birthday. If you have family members that enjoy good sushi, then they'll enjoy this place. My brother and his fiancé wanted to come back again after we finished our meal. The spicy tuna hand roll comes free with Yelp check-in, but it's worth getting a second because it was my fav! The yellowtail hand roll comes in as a close second. Everything is delicious and I'm definitely coming back.
Sep 25, 2023 · SharonWent for lunch and the restaurant was pretty empty for a Saturday. They only have counter seating so glad it wasn’t busy so we had space between us and the next group of people. There’s definitely a mixture of pricy and moderately priced sushi. I love watching the chefs make each dish which unfortunately makes me want to try everything.Ordered the glazed crispy shrimp, lobster crispy rice, blue crab hand roll, albacore roll, and the seared black cod. Then we saw something cool across the way in a smoker dish. We asked what it was an it was $50 sushi dish. Unfortunately we didn’t want to spend $50 for two pieces of sushi kamatoro but the waiter offered an alternative with the same presentation which was the salmon w/ caviar. Definitely very picture worthy and also tasted fresh with a Smokey flavor. Everything was really good and definitely would go back to try other dishes. It’s not the cheapest sushi but service and food was top notch.Parking is pretty easy too there’s meters right in front but they are full, there’s 2 parking lots right in back of the restaurant.
