Setagaya Reviews
For a food court, it's delicious ramen!A perfect afternoon meal if you are in the area. The noodle quality is not the best but the flavor of the broth and pork is top notch.I would go for the deluxe next time so it has the egg!
April 21 · Jan Ezer DominguezOne of my favorite quick ramen spots in Brooklyn. The miso and spicy miso ramen bowls are filling and heavy, broth wise, so if you have a sensitive stomach, the tonkotsu ramen may be a better choice. The vegan ramen is especially light, but if you don’t like the taste of almonds or dairy product in your ramen (or are allergic) it’s not for you.My favorites are the spicy miso or black garlic bowls! And service is pretty fast for the amount of customers they get in a day.
February 05 · Danni HHad vegetarian spicy miso ramen and the taste was amazing, the broth is so rich and not too salty or sweet like the other vegan ramens. I just wish that they have LED lights or something to announce the order number that’s ready. The wait is long as they don’t have much employees too. But the ramen taste’s worth the wait.
March 09 · Su Su OoIf you want to experience a taste of Japan without leaving New York, check out the Japanese Village in Industry City, Brooklyn. The vibe here is amazing—calm, stylish, and authentically Japanese. You’ll find a cozy ramen spot serving delicious, flavorful bowls, perfect for warming up on a chilly day. There’s also a shop with unique Japanese goods, from snacks to homeware, making it a great place to browse or pick up a cool souvenir. Whether you’re a fan of Japanese culture or just looking for a new spot to explore, this place is definitely worth a visit!
March 13 · Elijah B.This is my favorite ramen place in Japan Village.Setagaya Ramen in Japan Village offers authentic Japanese ramen with a unique broth. Their renowned broth, particularly the Shio (salt) broth, uses dried fish, kelp, and chicken for a delicate, seafood flavor. Setagaya Ramen's Black Garlic DX Ramen features a savory, salty, and subtly sweet broth, perfectly complementing the toppings and noodles. This rich and bold ramen blends traditional Japanese flavors with the distinctive taste of black garlic. My favorite is still the Black Garlic Dx Ramen. You order at the counter and staff was friendly and quick. This is a perfect spot for ramen if you visit Japan Village. There's not a lot of seatings but there's definitely lots of customers stopping by here for their delicious ramen.
