Shirasoni Japanese Restaurant Reviews
I love this place. Other than the smokiness, the chefs are always fun and engaging, and the portions sizes are perfect. Never had a bad meal here. Last time I went we had to wait close to an hour but the manager gave a complimentary drink for everyone in our party. We were in no rush, but it was a very sweet gesture. I will always come back 馃馃徑
May 28, 2025 路 Maeila LongWe used to come here a lot when we lived in Alameda. Went back after couple of years for a late lunch. We ordered sushi and the shrimp tempura. The taste was quite bland. Not sure what鈥檚 lacking. Though presentation still looks good. They also add 20% service charge to your check regardless of how many people in your party (3 of us and we were charged $23 service fee) considering it took a while for the server to take our order, no one even bother checking on us while eating. We asked for our check and gave us the wrong one. They weren鈥檛 even busy at that time since it鈥檚 already passed lunch time. We were disappointed.
