Shogun Restaurant Reviews
This is a fantastic restaurant every time we eat there we have the chef cook in front of us and man is this place fun! I love when they do a volcano with the lights and pretend to have the bottle squirt in your face! It is such a fun and relaxing place and don’t even get me started on how good the fried rice is!!
Apr 08, 2025 · Kayleigh919Overall positive experience with standard to good Teppanyaki fare. Portion size was very good compared to some of what I have seen in Northern California. Our chef was good but subtle. For this experience, I think over the top is a little better. Some of our group ordered sushi rolls, which were beautiful and large, but rather expensive. They were stuffed and probably could’ve been advised that they would have plenty of food without it or they should share the sushi…
Apr 18, 2025 · Anne MarxThe reason to go to these types of restaurants is to get a fun show and engage with the chef a little bit. The food is never going to be the best quality or price but you get a unique experience. Unfortunately, our chef couldn't speak English and there wasn't much to the show. Couldn't engage with the chef or really understand anything he was saying (we actually understood more of what he said in Spanish.) Also the pacing of the meal was poor. Sat down 6:30, order taken 6:45. Chef started cooking at 7:15, meal was done by 7:30. All of the food was done at once so you are sitting with a huge pile of food on your plate. For us also the food was under-seasoned and sauces were not good. Restaurant had a cleanliness issue as well. Seats had spills on them and counter was sticky. Avoid this place if you are looking for a special experience.
Mar 25, 2025 · Daniel JohnLocation:Good,Parkimg:Okay, Service:Good, Food worth Price:Okay, Overall: I have been to another Shogun and both had good food. The lunch menu seemed a bit more balanced than the dinner. I kinda felt like we paid for the show without the chef in front of us. I may go back, but I do admit the meal was tasty...
May 28, 2021 · Rich Gill (Rich AMeN Gill)Went for dinner and the food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh with good presentation and flavor. Staff is polite and fast and a nice atmosphere to dine in. The rainbow ice cream is a must try for dessert! A little expensive but definitely worth it for the size and portions. Had no wait time on a Tuesday night
