The restaurant is situated within a commercial complex, which typically offers ample parking facilities. This is a crucial convenience in Las Vegas, where readily available parking can greatly enhance the dining experience, especially for a quick-service establishment. The ease of access, combined with convenient parking, makes SOHO Sushi Burrito a practical and appealing choice for a quick lunch break, a healthy dinner, or a grab-and-go meal. Its placement away from the immediate tourist-heavy areas of the Strip also reinforces its appeal as a local establishment, focusing on serving the daily needs and cravings of Las Vegas residents.
SOHO Sushi Burrito specializes in customizable sushi burritos and poke bowls, offering a fresh and versatile fast-casual dining experience.
- Build-Your-Own Sushi Burrito: This is the signature offering. Customers can create their personalized sushi burrito by choosing from:
- Wrap: Typically a seaweed wrap.
- Rice: Sushi rice is a common base.
- Proteins: A selection of fresh raw fish (e.g., Salmon, Tuna, Spicy Tuna, Yellowtail) and cooked options (e.g., Shrimp Tempura, Cooked Salmon, Chicken, Crab Mix).
- Fillings/Veggies: A wide array of fresh vegetables and ingredients such as cucumber, avocado, edamame, corn, red onion, jalapeño, and more.
- Sauces: Various house-made sauces to add flavor, including Wasabi Aioli, Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce, Ponzu, and others.
- Toppings: Additional enhancements like tobiko, tempura flakes, sesame seeds, and seaweed.
- Build-Your-Own Poke Bowl: Similar to the sushi burrito, customers can customize their poke bowl with a choice of base (rice, salad), proteins, sauces, and toppings, offering a deconstructed version of the burrito or a more traditional poke experience.
- Signature/Pre-Designed Burritos and Bowls: For those who prefer pre-established flavor combinations, SOHO Sushi Burrito typically offers a menu of signature creations, designed by their chefs, which combine popular ingredients and sauces.
- Side Dishes: Common Japanese fast-casual sides may be available, such as Edamame, Miso Soup, or Seaweed Salad.
- Beverages: A selection of soft drinks and bottled beverages to complement the meal.
- Online Ordering & Takeout: SOHO Sushi Burrito facilitates convenient online ordering for pickup, allowing customers to place their orders ahead of time for a quick grab-and-go experience. This is crucial for their "express" model.
- Catering: While not explicitly mentioned, similar fast-casual concepts often offer catering options for events or office lunches, providing their customizable bowls and burritos for larger groups.
SOHO Sushi Burrito distinguishes itself in the Las Vegas culinary landscape through several key features and highlights that consistently appeal to its local clientele:
- Unique Fusion Concept: The most prominent highlight is its "twist between Mexican food and sushi/poke," offering a novel "sushi burrito" format. This innovative approach provides a fresh and exciting way to enjoy Japanese flavors in a convenient, handheld form.
- High-Quality Freshness: Despite its fast-casual nature, customers consistently praise the freshness of the ingredients, with one reviewer stating, "Sushi was very fresh." This commitment to fresh fish and crisp vegetables is paramount for a positive poke and sushi experience.
- Extensive Customization: The "Build-Your-Own" model for both sushi burritos and poke bowls is a major draw. It empowers diners to select their preferred proteins, bases, sauces, and toppings, ensuring a personalized meal that perfectly matches their taste and dietary preferences.
- Friendly and Engaging Service: The staff are noted for being "friendly and funny," which significantly enhances the overall dining experience. Positive interactions with staff contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and encourage repeat visits.
- "Totally Beat My Expectations": This specific feedback highlights the surprising quality and deliciousness of their offerings, often exceeding what customers might anticipate from a fast-casual, fusion concept.
- Filling Portions: Reviewers mention that the food is "decent and filling," indicating that customers receive satisfying portions for their money, which is important for a quick meal.
- Healthy Fast-Casual Option: SOHO Sushi Burrito provides a healthier alternative to traditional fast food, offering fresh fish and vegetables in a quick-service format, appealing to health-conscious diners.
However, it's worth noting an area of minor feedback from a review:
- Minor Inconsistencies: One review mentioned the white rice having a "burnt taste to it" and some salmon being "a little tough." While this suggests occasional minor inconsistencies, the overwhelming sentiment leans towards positive experiences, indicating that these instances may be infrequent.
SOHO Sushi Burrito, as a fast-casual establishment, primarily offers value through its customizable, fresh, and convenient meal options rather than traditional coupon-based promotions.
- Build-Your-Own Value: The ability to customize your sushi burrito or poke bowl allows customers to control the ingredients and portions, ensuring they get exactly what they want for their money. This inherent flexibility and personalization serve as a continuous value proposition.
- Reasonable Pricing for Quality: While specific prices aren't provided in the reviews, the general sentiment of the food being "decent and filling" combined with positive comments about freshness suggests a good price-to-quality ratio, making it an affordable yet high-quality option for a quick meal.
- Convenience of Quick Service: The "express" in its name and the fast-casual model mean quicker service compared to traditional sit-down restaurants. This time-saving aspect is a valuable benefit for busy locals seeking a fast yet fresh meal.
- Online Ordering Platforms: SOHO Sushi Burrito likely partners with popular third-party delivery services like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub. These platforms often run their own promotions (e.g., discounts for first-time users, free delivery for subscribers, or percentage off for minimum orders). While not directly from SOHO Sushi Burrito, their participation allows customers to benefit from these platform-specific savings.
For the most up-to-date information on pricing, any potential new signature creations, or platform-specific online ordering deals, locals are encouraged to check SOHO Sushi Burrito's official website or their listings on their preferred food delivery apps directly. SOHO Sushi Burrito Reviews
Food is decent and filling. My only complaint is that the white rice had a burnt taste to it and some of the salmon was a little tough. This isn't traditional at all, it's kind of a twist between Mexican food and sushi/poke.
May 29, 2025 · Evika ThurgoodI made a Salmon burrito with sushi rice and seaweed wrap. Wow. Totally beat my expectations. Sushi was very fresh and the recommendations for additions was perfect. Wasabi aioli, seaweed, tobiko, enimame etc. food was great and service was friendly amen funny.
Apr 14, 2025 · Mark ThomasThe bowl had a lot of sushi rice. I was disappointed in the brown rice that was in the burrito, hard, & undercooked. A lot of the topping not spread out, just spooned in areas. I will try again due to me liking it previously. When it is done right, it is delicious.
Dec 14, 2024 · Keneshi “JNOODLES” BurpoStopped in to quickly scratch a sushi burrito itch. Staff was quick and efficient. Not overly friendly or chatty but took care of us quickly. Restaurant was clean and bright. My angry tuna burrito was good and the family enjoyed their sushi bowls. Great place for a quick stop
Jan 26, 2024 · Michael McLaughlinI love coming here and having been doing so for several years now and the food is amazing. They are right in the heart of several corporate centers and I always go during lunch break along with many others around the area. The service is great but pretty slow because there’s only two people working the orders while another is on break which is odd given that noon would be your busiest time.
