Sosogu Ramen & Japanese BBQ Reviews
We went to eat SosoGu Ramen & Japanese BBQ an hour before they closed on a Monday. They were extremely busy, but we got one of the last opens spots. Even though they were extremely busy, the food came out fast and the food was delicious. The barbecue was a little bit pricey, so I got the beef rice bowl, which was very tasty. The bowl is made with high quality ingredients. There is a spice bomb in the rice bowl that you will want to watch out because it super spicy. Other than that all the food was great and the servers were all very nice. I will definitely be back to try some ramen and the barbecue.
Jan 21, 2025 · A & B Life AdventuresLovely ramen place in downtown Redlands! Great walkable area and right next to the train station. I had a standard tonkotsu ramen and it was nice, filling, and rich! Definitely would come again, and they have Japanese barbecue so definitely curious in trying that.
May 02, 2025 · Dennis PhanOrdered the Smoked Brisket Shoyu Ramen. The only complaint I have is that I wish I had a little bit more in terms of portion size. With that said, the dish itself was great. The brisket was flavorful, and the smoke was perfect. The broth was hot and full of classic shoyu flavor, and a nice touch of the smokiness from the brisket took it up a notch. The noodles were different but in a good way. They were not overcooked and had a very nice chew to them. I'm definitely going back to try the tonkotsu!
Jan 19, 2025 · Luis LabordeI liked the layout of the restaurant, which was unique to me. The food was so delicious, I forgot to get a photo of the ramen! The Filet Shoyu Ramen with truffle oil and medium rare filet mignon made such a savory flavor that thoroughly satisfies. It's not creamy or spicy, and it's a good choice for those who are averse to pork based broths. We also ordered bao buns that were almost made like tacos. Those were VERY flavorful! Highly recommend them. Finally, I must mention that the staff were SO friendly and helpful with our decisions on what to eat. Loved this place overall and would come again!
Apr 13, 2025 · Corbin AlicandroMy son loves it. I'm not too big on Ramen, but it's always packed out. Shrimp tempura is very good.
