Soy Grill Teriyaki Reviews
We ordered through Door Dash around 7:45 pm. Not near our place but we wanted to give it a try. It was favorable and warm when it was delivered 45 minutes later. I loved that you can get both chicken & beef. The shrimp was not what I expected or thought I was ordering since there wasn’t a real description but it had wonderful seasoning. I would recommend giving it a shot.
Nov 23, 2020 · Jen LThis place used to be good as me and my family used to come all the time, I recently came back and tried it and its super good still! The old owners were amazing, miss you guys. The photos below is what is looks like now.
Jul 25, 2024 · A.CI’ve been a Soy Grill regular for years now, usually patronizing the Sunnyside and Mall 205 locations. I have gotten consistently amazing service and food every single time I go there!! It’s one of my staple eat-out spots.I found myself in Vancouver and saw that there was a location up there so I decided to call in for takeout my usual spicy chicken fried rice. When I got my food, I was met with the first red flag: normally I just put the teriyaki sauce on at the restaurant with the bottles they have for customer use. This location hid the teriyaki sauce behind the counter and was reluctant to let me use it, it seemed. The main point of this review came when I opened my take out container to put the teriyaki sauce on it. The portion size was laughably smaller than what I was accustomed to from the other locations, but I thought maybe I was just bitter and biased from the teriyaki sauce stinginess. It was heavy on my mind on my way home, heavy enough that I got petty. Real petty.I called in a takeout order for the exact same thing from my usual Mall 205 store and bypassed my exit to go pick it up. As soon as I opened it to put the sauce on, my suspicions were validated!! I took them both home and actually WEIGHED THEM! I’m glad I did, because the portion size was much more different than what I had thought. The Vancouver location’s portion size was almost 1 WHOLE POUND less than the normal portions I was used to, at the same price (if not more with sales tax). Yes I took pictures, yes they are attached. So, let this be a word of warning that you’re not getting your money’s worth if you visit this location, you would be better off crossing the river. I gave it two stars instead of one, solely because the food was decent.
Mar 11, 2023 · Steve HVery good service. We ordered to-go. They told us to have some free soup while we were waiting! My toddler loved it. They had the order ready quickly. The food was great! Chicken was better quality than other teriyaki. My husband and I can normally eat a lot and we'll definitely split an order next time. The prices were cheap too! This will be our new teriyaki spot!
Oct 04, 2019 · Sarah AckermanI ordered 2 side dishes and was given (and charged for) an entire meal. This happened to me before, otherwise they'd get a 5 star for service. I didn't have enough time left on my lunch break to start over.
