Suki Hana Introduce
### Introduction / Overview
For shoppers and residents across New Jersey, especially those frequently visiting the iconic Garden State Plaza in Paramus, Suki Hana has become a familiar and convenient stop for quick, satisfying Japanese-inspired meals. Taking over a spot previously occupied by another well-known Japanese eatery, Suki Hana has quickly established itself as a go-to for delicious teriyaki chicken and a variety of other popular Asian-fusion dishes. Located right in the bustling food court (FC6), it offers a quick and flavorful dining option that caters to the fast-paced environment of a major shopping mall.
Suki Hana aims to provide a reliable and tasty meal with an emphasis on its signature teriyaki. While the taste of their sauce has seen some recent changes, with early reviews praising its sweetness and later ones noting a shift towards saltiness, the core offering remains a popular choice. Beyond the highly favored teriyaki chicken, the menu expands to include beef, shrimp, noodles, and various sides, ensuring there's something to satisfy different cravings. For locals in Paramus and surrounding areas, Suki Hana presents itself as a practical and appealing choice for a quick, affordable, and generally delicious Japanese meal while navigating the mall, providing a welcomed addition to the diverse food court landscape.
---### Location and Accessibility
Suki Hana is strategically located within one of New Jersey's most prominent shopping destinations: One Garden State Plaza, FC6, Paramus, NJ 07652, USA. Its position in the food court (FC6) on the second floor of the mall, near stores like Urban Outfitters, makes it highly visible and easily accessible to the countless shoppers and visitors who frequent the plaza. Paramus, being a central hub in Bergen County, is exceptionally well-connected by major New Jersey highways, including Route 17 and Route 4, making Garden State Plaza a simple and direct destination for residents from across the state.

Garden State Plaza offers extensive free parking facilities, which significantly eases the dining experience by eliminating the common urban challenge of finding a spot. Once inside the mall, clear signage directs visitors to the food court, ensuring a straightforward path to Suki Hana. This convenient placement within a high-traffic area, combined with the plaza's overall accessibility, makes Suki Hana a practical and attractive choice for New Jersey locals looking for a quick and satisfying meal during their shopping excursions or as a dedicated stop for an easy lunch or dinner.

### Promotions or Special Offers
Suki Hana's primary value proposition often lies in its competitive pricing for main meals within the Garden State Plaza food court. While explicit, short-term promotional deals are not consistently advertised, the standard menu pricing, such as around "$9 per meal with tax (no drink)" as noted in an early review (though prices may vary and increase over time, with other sources indicating around $12 for a chicken teriyaki special), positions it as an affordable and convenient option for New Jersey locals.
Restaurants within large shopping centers like Garden State Plaza may occasionally participate in mall-wide promotions or seasonal events, which could offer limited-time discounts or special combo meals. Additionally, for online delivery services like Uber Eats, you might find specific "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" deals on popular items such as "Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki" as seen in some online menus. To discover any current special offers or unique deals, New Jersey residents are encouraged to:

Suki Hana Reviews
Knocking off 2 stars.. the sauce is now salty instead of sweet. And by salty, i mean too much salt unfortunately. I think i will skip suki hana next time im here. This was twice in a row now that the sauce is too salty and no sweetness at all.If the owner or manager reads this, please bring back the sweet teriyaki sauce.5/21/2022** end of update **Suki Hana is a great Japanese Teriyaki chicken restaurant inside the Garden State Plaza mall. This replaces Sarku Japan's spot. The chicken is delicious and they have other menu options too. I was here on the opening day in March 2022. The employees are friendly. The prices are very good at $9 per meal with tax(no drink). The drink prices are a bit high, but thats true of the entire food court. Since this was the first day, they were a little slow at making the food. But it was worth it! The chicken tastes a little better than Sarku and is a little more sweet and a little less salty too.Pros:Yummy Teriyaki chicken! Also have beef, noodles, shrimp and other itemsGood drink selectionFriendly employeesAcceptable speed, but a bit slow on opening dayGreat locationPlenty of seatingReal plastic straws!!Cons:Slightly pricy drinks(but same with entire food court)No plastic bags(not sure why not? Othet malls have plastic bags for takeout food. Common sense)
May 21, 2022 · Jer BrackThey give very little portions of chicken for a meal you’re paying $12 for.
Dec 20, 2024 · missdapperdollI was really disappointed with Suki Hana. I thought they were musicians but turns out they only make music. They are also definitely NOT magicians.
May 12, 2025 · DI am surprised at the bad reviews for this place. Of all the options at the garden state mall food court, this place is one of the few healthy ones, precisely because it is not drenched in heavy, excessively sweet teriyaki sauce or gravy or fried, like the other asian options. Every time i am in this food court, i see a long line for this place- and it's not because it is the cheapest, as people have mistakenly implied here. The food is just cleaner and healthier. A lot of people that work at the mall order from here. Don't compare this place with Sarku, which is like the cheesecake factory option. And they don't use MSG. And I have never gotten sick from undercooked food from this place.
Feb 23, 2024 · Cosmo JunoJust another copycat of Sarku....but not as tasty. The chicken teriyaki was $9.89. Extra $0.50 for fried rice and an extra $0.75 for noodles. The chicken was tender but not very flavorful or well seasoned. You should definitely ask for some teriyaki sauce on top otherwise it will be dry and tasteless. They give a big portion of rice though.Overall, it is filling if you're hungry but definitely not authentic Japanese at all.
