Sunny Sushi Reviews
I love this place. I read the other comments and have never experienced rudeness or have ever been unsatisfied with the sushi (poke bowl). I used to eat there 2 times a week because it was on my way home from work. I still stop in when I am in that part of town. Don't let the Karens put you off this place.
Mar 16, 2025 · Lora WellsAwesome little place. The salmon has that creamy melt in your mouth freshness. Both times I've ordered the poke arrived surprizingly fast. After my second visit my wife asked me if I had reviewed this place. The reciept also doesn't have exorbitant tip suggestions. When I checked them out, I was shocked at the low rating. I'm reviewing this place out of a sense of duty. Please come. Please review. My one critism, turn down the pop/house music. My conversation with my with was like an AT&T phone call. "I want to order... ... 8... balls." "What?"
Jul 30, 2024 · Bruce Benik III ordered take-out and it was one of the most subpar sushi spots I’ve tried on the UES. Typically order from Ikyu or Amber and I definitely won’t be eating here again.
Mar 23, 2025 · Katie KiefnerIn this tiny restaurant I had one of the best poke of my life. The bowl was filled with ingredients which had a very good taste (especially the salmon and the avocado). I spent about 16$ for a bowl which is a fair price for how tasty it was. Staff was polite. Highly recommended.
Jul 30, 2024 · ChiaraWe ordered 2 Rolls with uber eats but we only got 1. When I call them they just hang up.
