Patrons frequently highlight the fantastic quality of the sushi and the impeccable service they receive. The restaurant prides itself on utilizing only the freshest and seasonal seafood, prepared by skilled sushi masters who show the utmost respect for their craft. While some experiences may vary, especially concerning expectations for omakase transparency and pricing, Sushi Ann generally aims to provide a sophisticated and authentic encounter with Japanese culinary traditions, particularly for those who prioritize the quality of fish and the skill of its preparation.

Multiple subway lines (including the 6, E, and M trains) and numerous bus routes have stops within easy walking distance, making it a convenient choice for a business lunch, an elegant dinner, or a special occasion. It has received honorable mention in the Michelin Guide, further validating its standing.

- Flexible Omakase Options: While omakase is a premium experience, Sushi Ann offers various price points for its omakase menus (e.g., lunch counter options from around $120-$160 and dinner counter options from $165-$265, as well as dining room options), allowing for different levels of indulgence and catering to varying budgets within the high-end category.
- Diverse Menu Beyond Sushi: Beyond omakase and standard sushi/sashimi, the menu includes a range of appetizers (hot and cold), soups, salads, and cooked entrees, providing comprehensive options for all preferences.
### Promotions or Special Offers
As a higher-end Japanese restaurant, Sushi Ann's approach to promotions typically focuses on value-added experiences rather than deep discounts. Their pricing structure reflects the quality of ingredients and expertise involved in their preparation. However, there are specific offerings that serve as attractive options for diners:
- Lunch Sets: Sushi Ann offers structured lunch sets (e.g., Sushi Sets, Sashimi Sets, Sushi and Sashimi Combinations) that provide a curated meal at a more accessible price point compared to dinner or full omakase, often including soup or salad. These sets are excellent for experiencing Sushi Ann's quality during the day.
- Corporate Lunch Delivery: While not a discount, the provision of a dedicated corporate lunch delivery service is a valuable offering for businesses, providing convenience and access to high-quality meals for their employees or clients.
- Seasonal Omakase Offerings: The various omakase courses, particularly the "Chef's Seasonal Omakase Course," implicitly offer a "special" experience by showcasing the best available ingredients and the chef's creative expertise, representing value in terms of culinary experience.
It is always recommended to check their official website or call the restaurant directly for the most current menu details and any potential seasonal or special offerings. For a restaurant of this caliber, the focus is on the intrinsic value of a premium dining experience rather than promotional pricing.

Sushi Ann Location
Sushi Ann Reviews
Sushi Ann is one of my favorite higher end Japanese restaurants in New York City. I have dined here on two occasions both times during lunch and had fantastic experiences each visit. While the restaurant has a very minimalist decor on the inside, the sushi and service are both absolutely fantastic.
November 03 · A RNot recommended, Disappointing, more than overpriced. Lack of good communication and transparency by not providing a decent description of the different Omasake experiences and price schedule. Surprise bill of $260 per person for Omasake and water. The excessive price was not appropriate to the amount of food served, the culinary experience or the ambiance of the restaurant. We left stunned, hungry and wondering the many things we would have been able to do in NYC with that money. My favorite restaurant was Manhatta, a 60th floor impecable restaurant. I could have gone to Manhatta 3 times for the price of 1 night at boring Sushi Ann.
April 14 · Laura CPlease BE CAREFUL what you order because they might serve more expensive menu and charge it.I ordered Sushi Omakase in Dinner counter, but they served Sushi & Sashimi Omakase which is more expensive than what we ordered. We did not check the order because of OMAKASE, but the final price was way higher than we were supposed to pay because they served different food for us.They said we should have mentioned if we had different menu from what we ordered.I agreed we should also have checked each food but STRONGLY RECOMMEND that all of customers keep in mind that every food is correctly served according to your order.
August 29 · Joonwoo HwangVery sophisticated and traditional Japanese restaurant. The interior is well-decorated, a little dim, and quiet. The atmosphere is suitable for a date, meetings, or a lunch with friends. Servers were friendly, attentive, and prompt.I had omakase and the fish was freshhh. It was uni season when I visited, and they had several kinds on hand imported directly from Japan. The octopus was also extremely delicious. They also have a nice selection of wine and drinks! I sat by the sushi bar and the chef was very knowledgeable and friendly. While the price is on the higher end, the quality and service lives up to it.Overall, everything from the people to the food is wonderful. Will definitely come back!
February 12 · LorraineIn a city filled with $400+ omakase spots, Sushi Ann offers haven for those looking to sit at a counter and eat piece after piece of simple, well crafted nigiri.
