Sushi by M-East 5th st Reviews
Came here on the first day of our NYC trip. We ordered $100 omakase set and enjoyed it! Seasoning on seafood and its combination of ingredients are not necessarily "authentic Japanese style" but I personally think it tastes pretty good. Once they knew it's my birthday they turned the lights off and sent out a small plate with candles on it. Unforgettable dinner for us.
April 28 · Foodie SakuraWe celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant, and it was an incredible Omakase experience. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious.I highly recommend this place for a special occasion, whether it’s a small celebration or a big one.
January 31 · Rahul LaliaSuper high quality sushi! We came to celebrate my partners birthday. We enjoyed the 10pc Omakase. It was phenomenal. It was a little bit loud so i had trouble hearing what was each piece. I'd definately reserve at the bar instead of table for omakase next time. The hospitality was amazing. They even had a little birthday surpise for my partner without me asking. Will DEFINATELY return.
March 09 · Christine KevillySushi By M is hands down one of the best omakase spots in NYC. The vibe is chill but polished, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy incredible sushi.Every bite is unforgettable—fresh fish, creative pairings, and perfectly balanced flavors. The toro and uni are insane, and the eel nigiri is next-level.What really makes it special is the team. The chefs are true artists, and the staff makes you feel like you’re part of the family. You’re not just eating sushi—you’re part of the experience. If you love sushi and want a spot with amazing food, a great team, and a cool atmosphere, Sushi By M is it. Just book early—it’s always packed.
December 26 · Dor Ben DavidBeen here 5-6 times as it’s near where I live. I’ve been to japan and this sushi rivals anything I had there. Extremely High quality and excellent service. Bring your own wine for a 30ish dollar corkage fee. The 69 dollar 12 piece is a dream and it’s usually what I choose with an extra appetizer. You cannot go wrong here and is one of the best omakase experiences in New York!
