Sushi Freak Reviews
Good food for takeout, but not a good place to sit down and enjoy a meal. My poké nachos came in a little disposable clamshell instead of the big bowl they serve it in at the uptown location. They also don’t have water cups (like at the uptown location). And the only seating is a few tables outside and some small, two-person booths inside, and the whole place feels sterile and drab. I’m sure this place is fine for carry out, but if you wanna sit down and relax for a bit, just go to the uptown location.
March 14 · Justin KesselringStopped here on the way out of town and it was very tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and quick. Loved all the choices. It’s like Subway in the respect that you can basically just point to whatever you want behind the glass and they’ll put it in your bowl! It was very reasonably priced and everything was very clean. We recently were in Hawaii eating poké bowls and this place honestly had more options than many places we went to there. It was DEFINITELY cheaper by a long shot too! Give it a try!
April 02 · Travel GirlFirst time here and I was beyond satisfied. My custom made crunchy roll (minus avocado, sadly I'm allergic to) and side of shrimp tempura was the best I've ever had! Order shrimp tempura to-go. Definitely, will be returning. The staff were very friendly, helpful and working hard at all the online orders coming thru. Kudos to Sushi Freak and the staff we had during our visit.
February 17 · Cheryl TenorioSushi Freak is so freaking awesome! The employees are friendly and the sushi burritos are delicious and I love getting to watch them make the food! It’s sort of like the Subway of sushi. A couple minor complaints that I have are that they don’t provide wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce unless you ask and they’re also a little stingy with napkins, but we still enjoyed our experience and we’ll definitely be back in the near future! :)
July 23 · Skudmonkey 2.0!I have gone here many times and honestly it is hit or miss.Recently this location has gone down hill. I don't know if someone has left or they aren't being trained, but I'm so unimpressed. My reasons are thus; the man, maybe early twenties, cut my roll with plastic wrap on top. Not only did he not do so tight enough, but also left cut plartic in it. Then put a sauced roll in with a dry roll. I'm being picky on that however, it changed the other roll and I didn't care for it. This isn't a big deal for me so if it is for you make sure to ask them to be separated. They also don't seem to be handling their fish properly anymore as my rolls were very fishy. Which is a sign that they are going bad. Be aware when eating. If it is off don't eat it or you'll get sick. What has been making me upset since I started going here was their point system. You can put your phone number in all day long and it will tell you that the points are going to it. However you need cash app to do it. If you don't have it don't bother putting in your number until you do. If you don't want cash app then you won't get the points.
