Sushi Kazoku Reviews
A Japanese restaurant operated by Chinese. The sashimi quality is really good. Warm service, seasonable portion. Will definitely come back again.
March 02 · Jill JillI love this Japanese place so much! Everything here is incredibly fresh and delicious, prepared with love. ❤️ My lunch today was simple, as always: miso soup, edamame, and 4 pieces of nigiri. 😋 My husband had a bento box with nigiri.
December 07 · Lara GetselevichThis place doesn't look so nice from the outside, but I very much enjoyed my meal. It is difficult to find good sushi in the bay area because most places are Americanized and focus too much on heavy sweet sauces and fried foods. This place is different and gives a much more authentic Japanese food. The seating area is neat and clean. There is gentle unobtrusive music playing. Service is very courteous and quick. Fish seemed fresh and good quality. The food gives a very light and clean feeling, which is how sushi should be. The price is reasonable. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant.
January 12 · Sebastian SchweigertI ordered takeout from this place, and was quite disappointed with the quantity of food. I ordered 2 rolls for nearly $25 each, but the quantity of food I received felt worth much less than $50I’ve ordered takeout sushi rolls from different places across the bay, and at this price point this has to be the worst value I’ve ever received. The silver lining is that the sushi rolls were not bad. I had the 49ers roll and the Kazoku roll. 49ers roll is very neutral in flavor and goes great with a little soy sauce. the Kazoku roll was overwhelming with flavor and had a little spicy kick to it. I was less of a fan of Kazoku roll.I was surprised by the high reviews of this place, but I suspect that dine-in is a better experience. I may try that in the future, but never again for takeout
November 09 · Alec MartinezExcellent sushi bar went with my friend and we got kampachi nigiri, tempura mix, kazoku roll, and butterfly roll. Tasty hot sake and everything was super delicious would definitely go back again.
