## Culinary Features and Offerings
Sushi Kingdom Madison is renowned for its "quality and quantity," particularly for its unique all-you-can-eat (AYCE) model. Unlike typical buffets where food sits out, this restaurant offers unlimited sushi and other dishes ordered from a menu, freshly prepared for up to two hours. This made-to-order approach ensures the freshness and quality of every item, a significant advantage over pre-made buffet options. The quality of the sushi is particularly high, with one customer claiming their "salmon nigiri is the best I've had in Tennessee," a strong testament to their expertise in fresh fish. The "salmon roll was a big piece of fish and quite tasty," further emphasizing the quality of their seafood.
Their extensive AYCE menu covers a wide range of Japanese cuisine, including:
- Sushi and Sashimi: Offering fresh options like tuna, salmon, white tuna, yellowtail, eel, and various spicy versions.
- Maki (Rolls and Hand Rolls): A vast selection including classic rolls like California Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Chicken Tempura Roll. They also feature specialty "Headliner" rolls like Godzilla Roll, Pink Lady Roll, Dragon Roll, and Kingdom Roll.
- Hibachi: Options include chicken hibachi and steak hibachi. While the steak hibachi was praised for its "garlic-y flavor," one reviewer noted a "bad texture" for the chicken hibachi, indicating some variability in certain dishes. However, overall, the hibachi options contribute to the comprehensive menu.
- Appetizers: A wide array of choices such as spring rolls (described as "great"), gyoza (with "a lot of filling"), edamame (though some prefer more salt), golden buns, crab rangoon, age tofu, shumai, crispy calamari, and various tempura dishes (shrimp, snow crab, chicken, vegetables).
- Soups & Salads: Including Miso Soup, Mushroom Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, Garden Salad, Seaweed Salad, and Crabmeat Salad.
- Fried Rice & Noodles: Plain fried rice was "good," and vegetable fried rice had a "nice flavor." They also offer various noodle dishes and desserts like ice cream and fruit.
This comprehensive menu ensures that there's something for every palate, making it an ideal spot for groups with diverse preferences. The ability to sample many different dishes freshly made contributes significantly to the dining experience and value.
## Promotional Information and Value

This price point is considered a "major bargain" by customers, especially given the quality and quantity of food received. The perception that "we got a fair amount of food out of it for the price" is consistently positive, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to delivering strong value. The transparent pricing and generous offerings make it a highly attractive option for both casual diners and sushi enthusiasts looking to indulge without limits. The fact that the owner remembers regular customers and the consistent positive feedback also serve as strong, organic promotional elements, fostering a sense of community and encouraging repeat visits.

Sushi Kingdom Madison Reviews
Good food and good service. We enjoyed the all you can eat and felt that we got a fair amount of food out of it for the price. We tried the salmon roll, chicken tempura roll, steak hibachi, chicken hibachi, vegetable fried rice, plain fried rice, spring rolls, gyoza, golden buns, and edamame. The salmon roll was a big piece of fish and quite tasty. The chicken tempura roll was nice too - it has cucumber and avocado in it. Steak hibachi was primarily garlic-y in flavor. The chicken hibachi was the only thing we didn't enjoy - bad texture. Vegetable fried rice had a nice flavor; plain fried rice was good too but not as much. Spring rolls were great. Gyoza had a lot of filling. Golden buns were okay - pretty plain besides the sweet sauce (maybe literally just an icing?). Edamame was plain - no salt and maybe undercooked which made it not very good. Definitely pleased overall.
Mar 09, 2025 · Lane StevensonThis is me and my wife's favorite sushi restaurant for quality and quantity. Is there salmon nigiri is the best I've had in Tennessee and keeps us coming back time and time again. The staff is friendly and the owner remembers us every time we return. Most all you can eat sushi places have a buffet where the sushi sits out for hours before being consumed but this place you actually order from a menu and you get unlimited sushi for 2 hours. For only 30 bucks a person this is a major bargain.

Mar 19, 2025 · Paul DavidFreya was wonderful. Her bubbly attitude and attention to detail was amazing. The food was amazing. They have an all you can eat menu. It was better than most of the hibachi’s that I have been too. I highly recommend it. The steak was good and tender. I don’t line fish and they had chicken sushi options.
Apr 27, 2025 · Mike McI hardly ever write negative reviews but this one deserved it. I came here some months back on business and the quality was acceptable for all you can eat sushi. Today the rolls they shredded or grated the cucumber which made it mushy and gave the entire roll that not fresh cucumber yuck taste. I ordered a spicy tuna hand roll and seriously they put panko bread crumbs in with the mashed tuna. So much so there was dry pieces of panko clumps. Thoroughly disappointed.. I will not be going back and anyone with a love of sushi should reconsider this place. The waitress was nice. And I complained to her but no one came out to discuss after so I can only imagine she didn't tell anyone because it's probably a highly frequent occurance and nothing will be done about it. It's obvious that they are trying to reduce costs to maintain profitability at the expense of food quality.
