Came here for dinner on Mother's Day. We waited for about 20min for a table of 9 people and were catered to almost immediately. Josh (our waiter) was kind, efficient and provided A+ service! Highly recommend and would come again. 🙌🏻

This place is great!! We had James as our server and they were amazing! Very knowledgeable about the menu and explained everything to us since it was our first time there. The food came in a timely manner and everything was absolutely delicious. The AYCE price is worth it for the quality of the sushi and the size of the menu you can order from. Also, we had a kid under 4 who ate for free! Pictured is the Banana Tempura dessert.

I visited Sushi Masa-Metairie during dinner hours on both the soft opening and the grand opening nights ~ as a new establishment with new wait staff, I expected to experience at least some level of chaos, but I could not have been more wrong! Management was super friendly, the wait staff were attentive, the food was on par with the Sushi Masa brand, and Destin makes an excellent margarita! I could not have been more pleased with the flawless execution of this location’s opening!I know that both Tiffany and Tommy are just be here briefly, but I do hope you both enjoy your visit and come back to visit us sometime! Great place!I usually drove to Baton Rouge, but now I’m so glad I have one in my neighborhood.The sushi was fresh and tasty, but the best part of our visit was the service. Our server, Anh, was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. He really made the experience special. We’ll definitely come back!

We went to this new location of Sushi Masa for their first day opening, and we were impressed! I went with two people who had tried other Sushi Masa locations, and they both said that this was by far the best location they've tried in terms of menu selections, quality of food, taste of each item, and service.If you're a newbie to Sushi Masa like I am, this is a small local chain of AYCE (all-you-can-eat) restaurants. They offer items outside of the AYCE menu to purchase separately too, but if you're a big eater, the AYCE option is the best bang for your buck. It's about $32 for AYCE and they have TONS of seafood choices. Their menu is expansive and you definitely won't get to try everything in one visit. They offer appetizers, salads, soups, sushi, sashimi, drinks (with your first alcoholic drink free), and even dessert in their AYCE pricing! It's honestly quite a deal!We went for their grand opening, so it was packed! We put our name on the waitlist and it was a one-hour wait, but so worth it. The waitlist process was convenient and easy too. You can check how many reservations (with the size of each group) are ahead of you on your phone to get real-time updates on the status of a table being available for you.Once seated, you place your orders and the items you request will be brought to your table as they are prepared. Each item was freshly prepared and the quality was very decent for an AYCE! I didn't have any complaints about any of the items, the staff were well-prepared and attentive (even though it was their first day and it was a full house!), and I had a fantastic dinner! Every item I tried was delicious tonight! This is AYCE, but since each item is made to order and brought to your table, unlike a buffet, you don't have the issue of potential contamination of food by other customers, and you don't need to worry about unpopular items sitting under a heat lamp.I would highly recommend this location of Sushi Masa. I hope they can keep up the quality and service because if they can, it's well worth the price and I will be a returning customer for sure!
