Sushi Ring Introduce
As locals in Colorado Springs, we're always on the lookout for those charming, small hometown spots that offer a unique flavor and a welcoming atmosphere. Sushi Ring, a Japanese restaurant tucked away in our community, has captured the attention of many with its promise of delicious sushi and friendly service. For those who appreciate well-prepared rolls and a cozy ambiance, Sushi Ring presents itself as a contender for your next Japanese dining experience.
One of the immediate draws for patrons at Sushi Ring is the quality of the food. Customers consistently rave about the "absolutely amazing" sushi, with every roll ordered described as "delicious." This highlights a strong commitment to taste and preparation, ensuring that each bite is a satisfying one. A particular standout, frequently mentioned and highly recommended, is the "Upside Down Shrimp," which is hailed as "incredible." This specific dish alone seems to be a reason for many to visit, showcasing the restaurant's ability to create memorable and flavorful offerings.
Beyond the impressive food, Sushi Ring aims to provide a warm and friendly customer service experience. Many visitors have noted the welcoming nature of the staff, emphasizing a "warm and friendly" approach that makes diners feel at home. This kind of personalized attention is often what transforms a good meal into a great dining experience, especially in a "small hometown spot" where community connections are valued. The legacy of Mr. Elvis, as one reviewer mentioned, seems to have been passed on, suggesting a continuous dedication to quality and hospitality.
However, it's also important for locals to be aware that dining experiences can vary, particularly during busier times or with limited staffing. While the initial service can be prompt and friendly, some customers have reported extended wait times for food, especially when ordering "all you can eat" options or during peak periods. Challenges with order accuracy and consistent service throughout the meal have also been noted. For families, the limited seating capacity might be a consideration, and proximity to windows could lead to discomfort due to heat. These factors suggest that patience might be a virtue, especially during busy hours, and that communicating clearly with the staff about your order and any time constraints could be beneficial.
Despite these potential challenges, the overwhelming sentiment regarding the food quality remains positive. The core appeal of Sushi Ring lies in its delicious sushi rolls, particularly unique offerings like the Upside Down Shrimp, which truly stand out. For those who prioritize taste and are willing to navigate potential service delays during peak times, Sushi Ring could still prove to be a rewarding culinary adventure right here in Colorado Springs.
Ultimately, Sushi Ring offers a local flavor of Japanese cuisine, with its fantastic sushi being a consistent highlight. It's a place that many have found to be their go-to for quality rolls, and for those who value the taste above all, it's certainly worth exploring.

Sushi Ring Reviews
Small hometown spot. Customer service was warm and friendly. The food is absolutely amazing. Every sushi roll we ordered was delicious. Mr. Elvis left his legacy in great hands. Please try the Upside Down Shrimp - incredible.
Nov 21, 2024 · King NothingWhen we got there the service was good at first, it was just 2 guys working. We ordered 4 California rolls for my kids and 2 all you can eat. We ordered everything and the California rolls came out at a decent time. But then our food began to take a lot longer to come out. There's not a lot of seating in the restaurant for families and we were by the window which began to get hot and uncomfortable to be around. Our kids finished their rolls before any of our nigiri or special rolls. The waiter that seated us was doing the sushi behind the bar and the other guy came and check in on us a couple of times at most. They messed up our order and we still waited. The server finally came by with the check while we were still waiting for the last of our nigiri and when we mentioned we came for my son's birthday he offered us some ice cream. Before he left he took my paymentand we waited for another 15 minutes before we got up and left. Total time that we were there was over 3 hours and our order was messed up, didn't get the ice cream and didn't get much service. Not worth what we paid and we're not coming back.
May 25, 2025 · Brando MedinaThis is my favorite and go to sushi place in town. The first time I went I fell in love with the place. That being said, I've never had the same chef twice so the food is slightly inconsistent, and the two consistent workers I see, are usually in the back absolutely swamped in prep work or cooking sides so it's hard to check out. I also wish they'd play music or something instead of putting on random TV shows or movies, but that's purely personal preference.
Apr 28, 2025 · B RWow! While the actual restaurant is a little different….the food and service is amazing! Elvis is great! The Garden of the Gods roll has so many depths of flavor! The fried calamari is so tender!
