Sushi Tokoro Reviews
Overall it was a pretty good experience. This is easily my go-to spot in the city despite it being a 30 minute commute one way for me.Reasons to go here:• They have a rather large menu for all you can eat sushi, and even more options on their regular menu. Lots of variety.• The wait staff is always very polite and helpful.• Everything has tasted fresh every time I have come here, which is something I was yet to experience at an ayce place. Usually there's at least one roll that's too dry or overly fishy, but not this time. Major plus for that, imo!• The trays they use to deliver larger orders of food are very cute. Makes it fun to come here with friends (or a large appetite).• It has some of the best prices for AYCE sushi in the city ($28 for dinner, $20 for lunch). It is honestly astounding that they don't have more business than they do. 5 star joint on a very nice shopping strip.
Apr 24, 2025 · Jocelyn GHorrible business! I went there for carry out and ordered a spicy salmon roll and a spider roll. When I got home and was eating the sushi, I realized there was no salmon in the roll. Just crunch.I then called them and the person who I ordered from accused me of ordering from somewhere else. She asked me for my name and credit card numerous times. Then wanted me to text her a picture. And accused me of wanting free food. She even texted me back the wrong receipt. After all of these steps, I talked with the owner and was appalled by his response. He accused me of wanting free sushi and vented and told me stories about how people want free food. He said he's been in business for years and no one has complained. He also said, "I'm a rich guy."I did get my money back but I will never come here again. I eat sushi often and I know how a spicy salmon roll looks. There was no salmon in that roll. Ridiculous! I do not recommend coming here at all! The workers and owner are horrible!
Apr 26, 2025 · Sarah M.My favorite all-you-can-eat spot in Chicago! Everything is prepared fresh, delivered to the table quickly, and with exceptional service. The ordering process is simple and streamlined. I highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to sample many different dishes. Great value!
May 02, 2025 · Andy MeholickI have been here many times for the all you can eat sushi and it is great every time! The food is very good, especially for AYCE. The servers are on top of cleaning up and bring out the food in a timely manner. For lunch, it is only 19.95 per person for AYCE, which is such a steal! Will definitely keep coming here!
Aug 11, 2024 · Kay RiveraCame here for the first time for the All You Can Eat Dinner option. The price for AYCE was $27.95 per person for dinner time and everything was super good! One of my fav was the Spicy Crab Roll and ofcourse the Salmon Nigiri. The banana tempura was surprisingly good!
