The place is always full! So that should tell you the quality of it all…….Atmosphere is very warming and chilling could be very tight and squeezing at times but definitely well worth the visit!!!I normally get the tuna shashimi with the baked mussels… and the Shrimp tempura roll sushi.. very excellent crunch to it the rice is just where it needs to be and if your a sushi lover that knows the real sushi! This is is!! Always come here since I’ve moved in the area and this will always be the spot!

Sushi UNI – Your Friendly Neighborhood Sushi Shop!The BEST sushi in the KC metro, hands down. Located in Lenexa, KS, Sushi UNI is a true hidden gem. Whether I’ve come for lunch or dinner, the experience has always been outstanding. The sushi is consistently fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. I’ve introduced several friends to this spot, and now they’re hooked too. If you’re anywhere near Lenexa and craving sushi, this place is a must.

This is my new favorite sushi place bc the prices can’t be beat! For lunch (even on the weekends) you can get 3 rolls, a soup, and a side for only $15. Such a good price. Lots of sushi roll options to choose from! I got the miso soup and it was really good!!! I definitely will be coming back here to get my inexpensive sushi fix! Place was a little tight but it’s okay. But the service was great!

best sushi place in kansas city area. very good price, and thick sashimi. overall price is worth so much. the only thing is long waiting. i wish they can have a bigger place or have another store.

Always enjoy the food at Sushi Uni. Dropped by for a late lunch and trying something a little different this time. The Dynamite sushi has hint of spiciness and I like it. Unagi is always my favorite. First time seeing the orange chicken cooked with dried orange peel and it’s more flavorful to our liking.
