Sutadonya Chicago Reviews
If you don't mind waiting upwards of 15-20 minutes for your food, it's definitely a place worth visiting! The food is so flavorful and fresh, and the prices seem fair. Only con is the wait time, and lack of seating, but that's not really the fault of the restaurant since it's in a food court. Will definitely go again! We had the garlic pork, garlic pork and curry, gyoza, and fried rice.
Sep 18, 2023 路 Katelyn RoachThis restaurant located inside Mitsuwa in their food court specializes in donburi (rice bowls). The food is delicious, but dining in at the food court is always a stressful experience at peak hours and their new self-serve order kiosk is slow.FOODThe onion, garlic beef bowl is phenomenal in flavor. The karaage is juicy and tender, but it does not have a thick, crunchy breading though if that is a consideration.ATMOSPHEREFood court has limited seating so weekend peak times can be chaotic. I'd advise choosing a less popular time/day or possibly order for take out.SERVICEThey are decently fast in preparing the food after ordering. The self-serve kiosk for ordering has a delay after ordering and printing out your receipt 馃Ь Texting the receipt option might be the way to go.
Oct 04, 2024 路 KeliaThis restaurant is inside the Mitsuwa market! If you need a quick meal, you can get a very tasty meal here! I ordered the Garlic pork bowl over rice with a soft boil egg! The service was kinda slow! Overall, the rice had lots of flavor!
May 02, 2024 路 Brenda KI haven't consumed rice in days, and I'm beginning to feel weak and fatigued. I need rice in my system or my body will go nuts because I'm Asian, this is a curse.I've discovered a location that can satisfy my craving. Some of the items they provide include rice, which is a plus. I immediately placed my order via kiosk since this is a counter service restaurant.I swiftly found a seat after submitting my order; now I'm just waiting patiently. It may seem like an eternity, yet my sacrifice will be rewarded.I was irritated to find out my meal was done without knowing when it would be ready because the staff didn't bother to contact me or yell my order number thankfully I was paying attention else I'd be starving to death. My mood altered once I had the food and returned to the table. The food was served in a to-go plastic container with a lid, which I thought was a good idea in case folks couldn't finish their meal. It's a basic rice dish with nothing special to say. It simply served fried chicken over rice. The chicken was still hot, and the outside was quite crispy with a satisfying crunch. I personally think they overdid the sauce because the rice had been drenched in it. The sauce is tasty, but there is far too much vinegar flavor.I'm pleased with my decision, and the rice dish served its function; now I can resume my life as usual. Thank you for the meal
Oct 04, 2023 路 HBTI usually love this place and have been going here since it opened. However, this past weekend I ordered the spicy garlic pork bowl and the texture felt undercooked compared to usual. My suspicion was confirmed when I felt sick later and had sulfur burps all day which is a sign of h. Pylori, a bacteria that can enter your tract from undercooked meat and pork. I have a feeling this place has more of a high turn over rate then it used to and maybe the newer cooks are not paying attention to cooking times
