Takkii Ramen-Allentown Reviews
Overall this was disgraceful. The service was SOOO SLOW! We were the only ones in there and it still took long. The food was hit and miss. Seaweed salad was good but a small amount of. The edamame was delicious but also small ( tasted fire roasted). My seafood Udon was very good with lots of shrimp. Miso was ok.
Apr 20, 2025 · John ElmerI recently visited this Japanese Ramen spot that left me with a few mixed feelings. The bowl of ramen was flavorful, though it featured some shrimp and mussels, which felt a bit light on seafood for the price. The fried calamari, served with a drink, pushed the bill over $30—a price point that seemed a little steep for what was offered. Additionally, if you wanted to add a spicy kick, there was an extra charge, which didn’t really enhance the overall experience. Overall, while the food was good and the presentation appealing, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by its pricing.
Mar 13, 2025 · Jay ThomasThe food and the service were good. The only downside is that 90% of the menu comes with pork. They have one appetizer and 1 ramen meal that has chicken (fried). The spicy miso is not spicy at all, and I had to substitute chicken instead of the pork (which I was charged extra for). They also have a bao bun dish on the appetizer menu, but it also comes with pork, and they would not substitute pork for chicken. It is upsetting because their chicken is very delicious.
Apr 05, 2024 · AWhat a lovely experience today! Pictured is the spicy miso ramen, and the karaage fried chicken. Tastes like what dreams are made of! Service was fast, and pleasant. Quiet ambience! Next time I will ask them to add some extra spiciness to my ramen, because my heat tolerance is very high. But still I can't complain. We will be back for more 🥰
Aug 29, 2022 · Velvet ElvisFirst time having real ramen and this place is awesome. We did pick up and food was still hot, and packaged nicely. Utensils were in bag, ready to go! Portion size is perfect for us. I got spicy miso and my husband got fried chicken ramen. Both were tasty Staff was friendly, we will be back to try more!
