Teriyaki Bowl offers a clean and functional environment, designed primarily for a quick and casual dining experience. While one customer noted it's "not somewhere I would want to dine in," they also affirmed that the "place was clean." This suggests a focus on hygiene and practicality, which is crucial for a quick-service establishment. The ambiance is likely straightforward and unpretentious, catering to customers who prioritize efficiency and a clean space for their meal. It's the kind of spot where you can grab a bite without the expectation of an elaborate dining setting, making it suitable for a swift lunch or a convenient dinner pickup.
The service at Teriyaki Bowl appears to be a notable positive aspect. Customers consistently describe the individual working there as "nice" and "friendly." This personal touch contributes to a pleasant interaction despite any perceived shortcomings in other areas. The focus seems to be on providing polite and efficient service, ensuring that customers' orders are taken and prepared in a timely manner. While the feedback on service is brief, the consistent mention of a "nice lady working there" indicates a commendable level of customer interaction and a welcoming attitude, which can significantly enhance the overall experience for patrons.
Teriyaki Bowl primarily specializes in classic Japanese-American teriyaki dishes. The menu is likely centered around various protein options served with the signature sweet and savory teriyaki sauce, accompanied by rice. While customer reviews offer limited specific details about the full menu, they do highlight some key items and common themes.
Based on the available information, the key features and popular items on their menu include:
Teriyaki Dishes: The core offering would include classic teriyaki varieties. Pork Teriyaki is explicitly mentioned by a customer, indicating its availability. It's highly probable that Chicken Teriyaki would also be a staple, given its widespread popularity in teriyaki establishments. Other common options in this category often include Beef Teriyaki and possibly Tofu Teriyaki for vegetarian preferences. These dishes are typically served with steamed white rice.
Portion Sizes: This is a point of mixed feedback. While the food itself is described as "just ok" by one customer, the primary concern raised by multiple reviewers is the portion size versus price. Customers state that portions were "Small" or "not good for the price," with one person paying $16.88 for pork teriyaki and an extra container of sauce, finding it insufficient for the cost. This suggests that while the food may be acceptable, diners should manage their expectations regarding the quantity received for the price paid.
Sauce: The availability of an "extra container of sauce" indicates that the teriyaki sauce is a key component and can be requested separately, which is a common practice in teriyaki restaurants for those who prefer more sauce with their meal.
Simple Offerings: The term "Teriyaki Bowl" itself suggests a focus on straightforward, single-dish meals that are quick to prepare and consume, catering to a fast-casual dining concept.
While specific details on appetizers, other Japanese dishes (like sushi or noodles), or any Chinese-inspired items are not provided, the name "Teriyaki Bowl" implies a focused menu on the namesake dish and its variations. The general sentiment about the food is "just ok," suggesting it meets a basic standard without necessarily being exceptional.
Teriyaki Bowl's main appeal lies in its convenience and its ability to provide a quick meal. Its location on US-2 makes it easily accessible for those traveling through Monroe or for local residents looking for a fast food option. The pricing and portion sizes are a consistent theme in customer feedback, suggesting that while the food is available, diners should be aware of the value proposition.
The restaurant's clean facility and friendly service are definite positives, contributing to a comfortable experience for customers. It primarily caters to takeout orders, but offers a basic dine-in option. They likely accept common payment methods such as credit cards. While not explicitly mentioned, operating hours typical for a fast-casual establishment would include lunch and dinner service throughout the week.
In summary, Teriyaki Bowl in Monroe serves as a practical option for those seeking classic Japanese-American teriyaki. Its strengths lie in its cleanliness and friendly service. While some customers have noted concerns regarding portion sizes relative to price, it remains a convenient choice for a quick and straightforward meal. For individuals in Monroe looking for an accessible and efficient dining solution, Teriyaki Bowl offers a functional service, aligning with the concept of finding immediate resources through a "Doctor Near Me" search, especially when quick and convenient sustenance is desired.

Teriyaki Bowl Reviews
This place is alright. Paid $16.88 for pork teriyaki and one extra container of sauce. Small portions.
November 29 · Alexander LomakinPortions were not good for the price. I’m a regular old chicken teriyaki guy and this was just ok. Lady working there was nice and place was clean but not somewhere I would want to dine in.
April 23 · Ryan MitchellIf I could rate it Minus Any stars, I would. They didn't give us our salads that came with meal. My husband had spicy chicken, there was Only about eight tiny strips of meat and all sauce. She even blamed me for not looking in my bag. Flavor of yakisoba was yuck. I do NOT recommend this place. Also it cost $39.00 Very disgusted And No t Happy.
February 11 · Rene SkinnerMe and some friends were coming back from skiing and stumbled upon this beautiful little restaurant. There is live music, and the cook even sang to me while delivering my meal. Everyone had a smile on their face. I walked out feeling like a new person.
March 26 · Nicole BassThis used to be a go-to place for us. Rising menu cost prices and continually smaller portions have forced us to not return to this restaurant. Granted I know everything is more expensive, but if you are going to lower your portion sizes and continually increase the cost that doesn't add up. Staff is very nice and receptive, but we will take our business elsewhere at this point.
